Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 3cbdce6137 Cargo: codec d4ac66e, kernel 85eb912, graph 8b315ab; MCP schema digest
Codec: the colour index palette at its standard intensities (#115), ACIS
colour attributes kept in binary data and multi-body split (#116, #118).
Kernel: spline curves and surfaces recognised as analytic shapes (#89).
The MCP tool schema digest follows the two PDF import automation actions
#1841 added.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 519d6605f9 MCP: create the automation folder before claiming the startup lock
On a profile that never ran the editor the folder did not exist, the lock
write failed, and ocs_sessions(launch_if_none) took that as another caller
starting the GUI: it never spawned one and kept answering "still starting".

Closes #1846

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 d9849e35ab Follow-ups to #1814
- `SelectObjectsCommand::with_settings` exists once: #1811 and #1814
each added one; PDFSHXTEXT now passes its settings step as the
  callback #1811's takes.
- The `pdf-shx` locale group in every language (English until
translated), so the catalog test passes.
- MCP tool schema digest for the `pdf_shx_settings` action.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 aa3b667110 Follow-ups to #1803, #1805 and #1806
- Block Attribute Manager: the error band's dismiss button is the close
icon, not a "×" glyph the web build may not have.
- Two signatures wrapped to the 100-column limit.
- MCP tool schema digest updated for the new `block_def_dialog` and
  `attman_dialog` actions.
- Measurement docs: MEASUREGEOM's Quick mode.

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 86429bf439 Ribbon key tips: Alt shows codes on tabs, buttons and menu items
A lone Alt shows a code on every ribbon tab and quick-access button.
Typing a tab code opens the tab and shows the codes of its buttons,
dropdowns, slide-outs and collapsed panels; a button code runs it, a
dropdown or slide-out code opens it and shows its item codes, Esc goes
back one level. Codes follow the reference ribbon; buttons without a
reference counterpart get none and unnamed menu items are numbered.

Codes are drawn as accent pills over the widgets that reported their
bounds in the current frame, with a hint bar under the ribbon. While
the tips are open keys go to them only. The automation gets a keytips
action and read operation.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 6490a625f2 feat(hatch): add and remove boundary vertices from the grip menu
A non-associative hatch's boundary vertex grips now offer Add Vertex and
Remove Vertex next to Stretch, on polyline boundaries and on boundaries
made of line edges alike. Add Vertex inserts the vertex after the picked
one, halfway along the next segment (on the arc for a bulged polyline
segment, splitting its bulge), and lets it be placed like any grip.
Remove Vertex drops it while keeping at least a triangle.

Line-edge boundaries used to show two grips at every corner (one line's
end, the next one's start), so dragging one opened the loop; each corner
is now one grip that moves both ends.

The automation grip_menu_pick action chooses an entry of the open grip
menu, so these edits can be scripted and checked.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 df94117fe5 feat(automation): replay pointer events on the canvas
The new pointer op sends moves (canvas pixels, or a world point projected
through the camera the cursor edits with), button presses/releases and
wheel steps in order, and reports the cursor's world point after each, so
grip drags and picks go through the same cursor path as the mouse.
click now projects through that editing camera too (it used the model
camera inside an entered viewport), and the grips read reports each
grip's constraint axis.

Karim Jerbi 006be8909e feat(mcp): add side-effect-free request preflight
Add local ocs_read validate calls that check operation parameters, nested definitions, request envelopes and batch bindings without dispatching. Report document-dependent checks and unresolved result bindings explicitly. Share validation with execution and validate inline JSON Schema fragments before dispatch.

Validation: 66 targeted tests, desktop build, WebAssembly app/worker check, schema validation and MCP stdio smoke tests.

Karim Jerbi 2b50b6c858 fix(blocks): one block definition service for delete, rename and purge on every path
new src/scene/block_service.rs (references, delete, rename, purge candidates, name validation, one error type and message). The command-line RENAME, palette Remove, plugin API, control/MCP block_delete and PURGE all use it. Layout, xref, dynamic-block, anonymous and open-in-editor records are protected; PURGE removes an anonymous block only when nothing references it. PROTOCOL CHANGE: control/MCP block_delete refuses a referenced block unless force=true (erases referencing INSERTs in one undo step). New REST route DELETE /api/v1/blocks/{name}?force=true. MCP tool digest re-pinned. Undo labels are Delete block X, Rename block X to Y and Purge.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 018ac455cb feat(mcp): select by window or crossing box
select takes window [x1, y1, x2, y2] in world XY, with crossing to also
take what the box crosses. It runs the viewport's own box test, now one
helper (box_selection_handles) that the drag and click-move-click
gestures share; the drag gesture applies the selection filter as the
click one already did.

Karim Jerbi a0d7447e2c fix(mcp): honest TTLs - 60s for resources, hour for tools
resources/* vary as sessions open and snapshots land, so an hour of advertised freshness was optimistic. protocol_result now takes the TTL value: tools/list and discovery keep 3600000, resources/list/read/templates get 60000, on every protocol version. No tool surface change; digest untouched.

Karim Jerbi f03ce9ab4f fix(mcp): send request_id and document_id on GUI capture requests
The GUI requires request_id and document_id on every non-query op, but the bridge sent neither on capture: every ocs_capture failed with request_id_required, then document_required. request() now always mints the GUI request id for capture (a client-supplied id wins and is echoed in metadata), and capture carries the active document. The op=capture read path answers guidance pointing at ocs_capture instead of a missing-path failure. Live-proven against the open window: plain and annotated captures return image content.

Karim Jerbi 695166d532 fix(mcp): stop deleting newborn GUI descriptors as corpses
The cached PID snapshot predates a GUI spawn, so the newborn pid missed from it read dead and the bridge deleted its just-written descriptor inside the launching call itself: every fast launch reported still-starting forever while a healthy window sat undiscoverable. Two guards: the snapshot cache is invalidated right after spawning, and deletion now waits out a 120s file-age grace (unknown age counts as newborn). Slow starters that write late were the only ones surviving before, which is why this was intermittent. Covered by stale_snapshot_may_delete predicate tests.

Karim Jerbi 469845df1c fix(mcp): only the 10-minute ceiling dismisses interactive waits
Short interactive waits returned a bogus 10-minute timeout on first expiry, killing the re-poll pattern and blocking task creation. The dismiss branch now fires only when the requested wait actually reaches the ceiling; shorter waits return running as before. Predicate covered by interactive_timeout asserts.

Karim Jerbi 4bca09c04a fix(mcp): honor tasks/cancel, public task error codes, schema-sync opt-out
tasks/cancel marks the task so polls report terminal cancelled with neither result nor error; late completions are discarded. Task envelope errors move from grandfathered -32000 to -32603. Agent schema sync on bridge start is now skippable via OCS_SKIP_SCHEMA_SYNC and logs one line when it writes.
2026-10-04 18:05:15 +01:00
Karim Jerbi 709036ffca feat(mcp): templates/list, top-level titles, deterministic resources
resources/templates/list serves the two genuine parameterized URIs (pyramid tiles, snapshots) with TTL hints instead of -32601. Tool titles move top-level per the 2026-07-28 Tool shape (dropped from annotations); annotation keys are allowlist-tested. resources/list ids are sorted so client and prompt caches hit. Tool schema digest rolls to fbba987a; pin updated deliberately after reviewing the titles-only surface diff.
2026-10-04 17:27:57 +01:00
Karim Jerbi b8caa5ccac feat(mcp): cancellable waits with GUI dismiss and max wait
run() reads stdin on a feeder thread into a channel (CancelPump); wait loops harvest lines in 50ms quanta instead of sleeping blind. A notifications/cancelled naming the in-flight MCP id dismisses the GUI prompt with a second cancel exchange, drops the late result, and sends nothing back. Cancels arriving between polls resolve via the inflight map; re-polls for dismissed ops answer cancelled without touching the GUI. Interactive picks (user_select/getpoint) get a 10-minute single-call ceiling ending in isError timeout text; other ops keep the 60s clamp. Ping-during-block stays unanswered while one exchange occupies the loop (bounded residual).
2026-10-04 17:02:24 +01:00
Karim Jerbi 5794276213 fix(mcp): spec-exact error routing for unknown tools and infra failures
Unknown tools become -32602 Protocol Errors carrying the four valid names (SEP-1303 keeps them there; the isError shape hid them from strict clients). Bridge/GUI infrastructure failures (no sessions, dead TCP, unwindable startup) become -32603 via the CallError split; tool-domain validation stays isError so the model keeps self-correcting. Verified observable in a live client session: bogus session surfaces readable -32603 naming ocs_sessions, model recovers.
2026-10-04 17:02:24 +01:00
Karim Jerbi 499b46ab4e fix(mcp): era-split not-found codes and -32600 for non-object input
resources/read reports -32602 on the modern path (2026-07-28 forbids emitting -32002) and keeps -32002 on legacy, where it was the code. Non-object top-level input (batches included - no batch semantics defined) gets -32600 Invalid Request instead of silence, so senders never hang. Id-less objects stay silent (notifications). Ping arm deliberately untouched: the method was removed only on the modern path, and legacy health checks may rely on it.
2026-10-04 17:00:59 +01:00
Karim Jerbi 22715c9485 refactor(mcp): spec-pure serverInfo, build identity via experimental
serverInfo carries only name/title/version so strict clients never reject the handshake. Build extras (build_rev, build_profile, tool_schema) live canonically in bridge_identity, surfaced via capabilities.experimental and the in-band bridge stamp - no copies to drift. Adds conformance guards: spec-pure initialize with unknown-version fallback, and JSON-RPC errors for unknown methods, missing tool names and missing resource URIs.
2026-10-04 17:00:59 +01:00
Karim Jerbi de4b47e7bd fix(mcp): announce build from the entry-point tool description
Global MCP instructions don't reliably reach agents (fresh sessions never announced the build). The directive now lives in the ocs_sessions description every agent reads first, pointing at the bridge object. Tool schema digest rolls to ede58332; pin updated deliberately after reviewing the description-only diff.
2026-10-04 17:00:38 +01:00
Karim Jerbi 71de9f844c feat(mcp): emit SEP-2549 TTL on every protocol version
List results (tools/list, resources/list, resources/read) carry ttlMs and cacheScope on the legacy 2025-11-25 path too; legacy clients ignore unknown fields per the SEP's backward-compat rule. The modern envelope (resultType, _meta.serverInfo) stays negotiated. Legacy-shape pin updated deliberately to assert presence.
2026-10-04 17:00:38 +01:00
Karim Jerbi d31b9d1a35 fix(mcp): harden discovery, serialize launches, expose build identity
Discovery skips pid-verified dead sessions and deletes stale descriptors; probes are bounded so dead sessions delay discovery by at most one timeout. The bridge exits after the in-flight request once it detects a rebuild, and error results omit structuredContent so strict clients surface real errors. Concurrent launches are serialized with automation/starting.lock: the first caller spawns the GUI, later callers wait for the same descriptor instead of opening another window. Session states and hello/capabilities responses now carry the bridge build identity (version, build_rev, tool_schema), and the agent instructions point the build announcement at it.

Karim Jerbi 9d53502b19 feat(mcp): implement 4-pillar auto-sync, dynamic introspection, and non-blocking validation
- Pillar 1 (Runtime Auto-Sync):
  * Add sync_agent_tool_schemas() in src/mcp.rs to atomically export live tool schemas & instructions to ~/.gemini/antigravity/mcp/opencadstudio/
  * Automatically invoke sync on MCP startup (mcp::run()) and GUI automation startup (transport::listen())
  * Add --sync-mcp-schemas CLI flag in src/cli.rs and src/main.rs

- Pillar 2 (Development Hook):
  * Strengthen export_agent_tool_schemas test in src/mcp.rs to assert all schema files and instructions.md exist and are in sync on every cargo test run

- Pillar 3 (In-Band Dynamic Introspection):
  * Add 'tools' to READ_OPS in src/mcp.rs and query match in src/app/control/mod.rs
  * Enable agents to dynamically query live tool definitions and instructions via ocs_read (op: 'tools') over MCP or raw socket

- Pillar 4 (Non-Blocking Validation):
  * Set additionalProperties: true on ocs_capture schema in src/mcp.rs to prevent rigid schema rejection of emerging options

Karim Jerbi 350742f2b0 feat(mcp): add standardized spatial metadata schema and visual differential streaming
- Standardize spatial metadata under \_spatial\ with \CAD_WCS\ CRS, document units, forward/inverse affine matrices (\pixel_to_world_matrix\, \world_to_pixel_matrix\), camera projection, and world bounding bounds
- Implement visual differential engine (\compute_visual_diff\) detecting pixel-level changes between viewport frames
- Map dirty pixel bounding box directly to CAD world coordinates (\dirty_world_bounds\) using the spatial transform
- Add \diff\, \diff_mode\ ('highlight' | 'crop' | 'metadata_only'), and \
