Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 3098523b8d perf(io,scene): drop redundant purge walk, fuse world-offset scan
Phase 1.1: resolve_xrefs now purges corrupt entities inline as it
merges each xref and returns the dropped count, removing the second
full-document purge_corrupt_entities walk in the FileOpened handler.
Every xref-bearing open saves one O(N) entities() pass.

Phase 2.4: split compute_world_offset into offset_prep / offset_centroid
/ world_offset_from_centers; centroid accumulation now rides the existing
cache-handle walk in build_derived_caches. Two O(N) entity walks collapse
into one, with identical MSPACE-membership filtering preserved.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 7bf9ce31ae feat(model): 3D solid modelling tab — primitives + boolean ops
Rename the Home tab to "Draw" and add a Model tab beside it with two
groups:

- Model: BOX / CYLINDER / CONE / SPHERE / WEDGE / TORUS, placed with a
  footprint + height. Each is built as a real ACIS Solid3D (acadrust
  primitive builders) plus a truck B-rep, tessellated into the shaded
  mesh pipeline, with edge wires for picking + wireframe.
- Design: UNION / SUBTRACT / INTERSECT via truck-shapeops.

A session-only Scene.model_solids cache holds each solid's truck B-rep
so the boolean tools can combine and chain them. Supersedes the old
command-line BOX/SPHERE/CYLINDER (insert::solid3d_cmds keeps EXTRUDE/
REVOLVE/SWEEP/LOFT).

Known limitations: booleans need solids created this session; curved
ACIS primitives render in-session but not after reload (the SAT
tessellator handles only planar caps); geometry assumes world_offset 0.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 05ea31aa2a feat(commandline): autocomplete suggestions + inventory-based registry
Type-as-you-go suggestion popup above the input that filters known
command names by substring (so `LEADER` surfaces both LEADER and
MLEADER). Up / Down navigates the list, Enter dispatches the
highlighted entry, clicking a row dispatches directly. Esc on a
non-empty input clears the buffer instead of escalating to
command-cancel.

The name corpus comes from `inventory::submit!` blocks placed next
to each `CadCommand` impl rather than a hand-maintained static list.
Adding a new interactive command means dropping one `inventory::submit!`
line in its own module file — the autocomplete picks it up at the
next compile. 98 submissions seeded across 60 module files;
`command::all_registered_command_names()` flattens them at runtime.

One-shot dispatch arms in `app/commands.rs` (NEW, OPEN, SAVE, UNDO,
…) don't have a `CadCommand` impl and are therefore absent from
autocomplete by design.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 39150d617f feat(commandline): always-on keyboard capture + space submits like enter
Two behaviour changes that bring the command line in line with
established CAD workflow:

1. **Always-on keyboard capture.** The input was blurred whenever no
   command was running, so typed letters went nowhere until the user
   clicked into the field. Replace the blur with a re-focus on every
   command lifecycle transition (cmd_result.rs) and on viewport / tab
   / ribbon clicks (update.rs), focus the input at startup, and add
   a global key subscription that catches any unhandled character key
   or backspace and routes it into the buffer via two new messages
   (CommandAppendChar / CommandBackspace) — so the command line keeps
   accumulating keystrokes even if focus parks somewhere not
   focusable. Removes the unused blur_cmd_input helper.

2. **Space submits.** Typing a space at the end of the input now
   submits the buffer the same way Enter does. Only exception: an
   active command that's currently collecting free-form prose
   (TEXT / MTEXT / DDEDIT body, ATTDEF prompt / default value,
   INSERT attribute value, ATTEDIT cell). Those advertise the new
   `CadCommand::wants_text_with_spaces()` flag so the Space character
   reaches the buffer as a literal.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 ef1f9a08d6 chore: rename H7CAD to Open CAD Studio
Joining the OpenAEC Foundation (open-aec.com). Crate/struct become
OpenCADStudio, user-facing strings use the spaced "Open CAD Studio"
form, repo URLs point to HakanSeven12/open-cad-studio. Logo (window
icon + assets/logo.svg) redrawn with OCS initials. Drop examples/
binaries — unused.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 a1ed87da3d chore: drop dead scene/IO helpers + simplify XATTACH command state
* helpers::wcs_to_ucs — UCS inverse transform with zero call sites.
* scene::Scene::compute_and_set_world_offset — never called; the load
  path uses the free function `compute_world_offset` directly.
* tessellate::tessellate_mesh — never called; mesh tessellation goes
  through `solid3d_tess`, not the truck Shell/Solid path.
* truck_tess::tess_to_mesh_model — orphaned with tessellate_mesh's
  removal.
* MeshModel::WHITE / MeshModel::SELECTED — only used by the removed
  tessellate_mesh.
* xattach::Step::FilePath variant — never constructed; XATTACH always
  enters through `with_path` after the file picker. Replaced the Step
  enum + prefilled_path field with flat `path` / `block_name` fields
  and dropped the unreachable text-input flow.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 22543e4f97 chore: remove dead UI helpers and orphan toolbar stubs
Each item below was gated by #[allow(dead_code)] and has zero callers
across src/ — none of them are part of any public API consumed by
external crates (this is a binary, not a library):

* modules/insert/underlay_frames.rs + edit_aliases.rs — toolbar stubs
  whose `tool()` registrars were never wired into the ribbon; the
  parent mod.rs inlines its own include_bytes! for the SVGs, so the
  files were orphan dead weight.
* ui/snap_popup.rs:snap_marker_color — never called.
* ui/ribbon/mod.rs:last_dropdown_cmd — never called.
* ui/scale_popup.rs:anno_scale_for_label — never called.
* ui/layers.rs:color_name_to_aci — inverse of aci_color_display
  with zero call sites.
* linetypes.rs:name_list — never called.
* scene/pipeline/wire_gpu.rs:new_ghost — never called.

Hakan SevenandClaude Sonnet 4.6 a2fb334966 fix: world_offset precision fix for large-coordinate DXF files (e.g. Turkish UTM)
Subtracts the DXF header extents centroid (world_offset) from all coordinates
in f64 BEFORE casting to f32. This eliminates the ~0.5 m ULP error that occurs
at 4,000,000 m UTM coordinates and caused geometry to disappear on zoom-out.

- Scene: adds world_offset field + compute_and_set_world_offset() method
- tessellate.rs: threads world_offset through all f64→f32 conversions
  (legacy_geometry, dimension_geometry, solid_wire_fallback, multileader)
- truck_tess.rs: to_local() helper already in place from prior session
- mod.rs: tessellate_entity() and entity_aabb() apply world_offset
- update.rs: compute_and_set_world_offset() called after doc load
- cmd_result.rs / solid3d_cmds.rs: pass correct offset to truck tessellators

Hakan SevenandClaude Sonnet 4.6 1d349c53af feat: LOFT command — ruled-surface loft through multiple cross-sections
Picks 2+ profile entities (closed or open wires), builds ruled shells
between consecutive pairs via builder::try_wire_homotopy, caps closed
ends with planar faces, and tessellates the result into a Solid3D mesh.

Hakan SevenandClaude Sonnet 4.6 063a1d5be1 feat: SWEEP command — sweep profile along Line/Polyline path
Picks a profile (closed or open 2D entity) then a path entity
(Line or LwPolyline). For Line paths uses tsweep along the line
vector; for Polyline paths uses start→end as translation direction.
Closed profiles produce a capped Solid; open profiles a Shell.

Hakan SevenandClaude Sonnet 4.6 549ae38459 feat: BOX, SPHERE, CYLINDER primitives + EXTRUDE / REVOLVE commands
BOX, SPHERE, and CYLINDER build truck topology solids and tessellate
them into MeshModels stored alongside a Solid3D placeholder entity so
the GPU mesh pipeline renders them immediately.

EXTRUDE picks any closed 2D profile (Circle, LwPolyline, etc.),
attaches a planar face via try_attach_plane, and translational-sweeps
it (tsweep Face → Solid) along Z by the given height.

REVOLVE picks a profile, two axis points, and an angle (default 360°),
then rotational-sweeps the wire (rsweep) around the axis.

Three new CmdResult variants drive the operations:
  CommitSolid3D, ExtrudeEntity, RevolveEntity.

Scene::layer_color() added to retrieve the active layer's RGBA color.

Hakan SevenandClaude Sonnet 4.6 a20558a024 feat: ATTREQ — attribute prompting during INSERT
When inserting a block that contains AttributeDefinition entities,
the INSERT command now enters an attribute-filling phase: each attdef
is prompted tag-by-tag (showing its prompt text and default value).
Pressing Enter accepts the default. The completed AttributeEntity list
is embedded in the Insert before committing.

Blocks without attdefs continue to insert immediately as before.

Hakan SevenandClaude Sonnet 4.6 b15be3af3d feat: WBLOCK — write block or selected entities to external file
- src/modules/insert/wblock.rs: extract_block_to_doc() copies a named
  block's entities into a fresh CadDocument; extract_entities_to_doc()
  does the same for a selection set; layer definitions are carried over
- WBLOCK <name> writes the named block; WBLOCK * writes selected entities
- WblockSave / WblockSaveResult messages drive the async save-dialog flow
- ROADMAP.md: 1.10 WBLOCK marked ✅

Hakan SevenandClaude Sonnet 4.6 64837e9aed feat: XREF management — auto-resolve, XATTACH, XREF, XRELOAD
- src/io/xref.rs: resolve_xrefs() scans block_records for is_xref flags,
  resolves paths relative to the opened file's directory, loads the
  referenced DWG/DXF and merges model-space entities into the xref block
- src/modules/insert/xattach.rs: XATTACH command with file-picker flow
  (XAttachPick/XAttachPickResult messages), prepare_xref_block() creates
  BlockRecord + Block entities and immediately resolves content
- XREF command: lists all external references in the drawing
- XRELOAD command: re-resolves all xref paths and rebuilds scene caches
- Auto-resolve on FileOpened: reports Loaded/NotFound per xref block
- CadCommand trait: added optional xattach_path() method
- ROADMAP.md: 1.9 XREF management marked ✅
