Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 3a3d2e4a84 Viewport block caches no longer scan every object per entity
A drawing with 650k entities and 21k objects stalled for 7 minutes the
first time a layout viewport was drawn (#1746): building that viewport's
block cache asked for each entity's layer viewport overrides, and the
codec found each layer's extension dictionary by scanning every object
whenever the layer had none. Codec 2646725 reads the registered link.

The XCLIP check made the same scan for every nested INSERT without an
extension dictionary; it now reads the INSERT's own link, which the
readers and ensure_extension_dictionary always set.

The codec crate is named acadrust again (b6cb385); the `codec` key and
every `codec::` path stay as they are, only the package name changes in
each manifest, the plugin API build script finds it under that name, and
the recovery report reads the codec revision from the `codec` line it
had stopped matching. Codec: DWG dimension text-position flag polarity
(#117) and explode ByBlock resolution.

Karim Jerbi 10c5a9d382 feat(block-editor): author Lookup tables and wire Basepoint insertion
Add native Basepoint placement and relocation, shared insertion and Test Block anchor behavior, and attribute-safe coordinate reframing. Wire native Lookup parameter placement and the Property Lookup Table editor through the existing palettes and BLOOKUPTABLE.

Stage input columns, rows, reverse lookup and audit across multiple tables; apply all drafts atomically as one undo entry. Persist native Lookup actions and graph dependencies while preserving unrelated objects and IDs. New inputs cover Linear and Polar distances; reference Lookup evaluation and geometry actions remain separate work.

Pin codec c418d92, kernel 0f6f225 and graph dcb9eda for correct R2010 inline constraint-group decoding. The codec regression uses a checked-in synthetic DWG and reproducible generator, with normal self-contained loading and edited DWG/DXF tests. Keep dock control tests independent of scene adapter warning dialogs in software snapshots.

Validation covers native round trips, all 17 research fixtures, graph preservation, insertion and attributes, staged editing, undo/cancel, and real palette/dialog controls.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 04b2c07a38 Use the codec audit and repair in place of OCS's corruption guard
Opening a drawing no longer drops entities with its own sanity checks or
rewrites knotless splines; recovery runs the codec's repair and records
its actions and unresolved issues in the drawing's notifications. Xref
merges keep every entity. The dropped-entity counts, their command-line
warnings, recovery report rows and the automation "purged" field go with
the guard.

AUDIT now reports the codec's audit (counts plus the first 50 issues) and
asks whether to fix; Yes applies the codec repair as one undo step.

Sebastian 60eb7b086e feat(plugin-api): entity-class display declarations on the manifest (API v10)
Plugins can now declare the entity classes they identify via XDATA, and the
host resolves them to display-only type labels while the declaring plugin is
loaded.

- Append `BuiltinPlugin::entity_classes()` (a guarded trailing vtable slot,
the same additive pattern as `on_load` in v5) returning a &'static
  `EntityClasses { app_id, class_prefix, labels }`. The static
`PluginManifest` struct is deliberately untouched: older cdylibs share it
by pointer and its layout is frozen ABI since v1, so adding a field would
  read past their allocation.
- `OwnedEntityClasses` travels on the registered manifest as
  `OwnedPluginManifest.entity_classes` with `#[serde(default)]`, so manifests
serialized before the field keep decoding (older runners tolerate it
  both ways).
- The runner folds the declaration into the GetManifest registration only
when the loaded cdylib's exported `ocs_plugin_api_version` symbol reports
  >= 10 — an older binary's vtable predates the slot, so it is never called;
its entities simply keep their native type names.
- `PluginManager::entity_class_declarations` exposes the live set, filtered
to alive, non-disabled plugins in load order. The registered manifests are
the only source and nothing is cached: not installed, disabled,
cap-excluded (`OCS_PLUGIN_MAX_API_VERSION`), failed at load, removed, or a
  dead process all contribute nothing.
- Embedded version info `api_version` follows the bump to 10;
  `API_VERSION_MIN_SUPPORTED` stays 3.

Tests: runner fold (v10 folds, pre-v10 skipped, `entity_classes()` panic is
contained and reported), manager filtering (disabled / dead / undeclaring
skipped; declarations disappear once the process dies — verified with a real
killed child), bincode registration round-trip, and older-manifest serde
default.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 ee2898095e fix(plugins): Python plugins see the host document again
Plugins read the host's document through a shared reference across the
dynamic-library boundary, and the entity index hashed with foldhash's
per-process seed, so every handle lookup from the plugin missed. The
codec now uses a fixed hasher (opencadcodec f385f75; kernel 9841749,
graph e9c23ad).

The Python IPC suite also caught up with intended changes: ATTDEF
renders its tag, DXF now keeps the lock-position flag, and the modify
audit turns associative arrays off since it checks loose copies.
The rate-limiter test waits for the host's check instead of a fixed
sleep that raced on macOS, and ENV_LOCK no longer cascades a poisoned
lock into every later test.

Sebastian 2cdc1df021 feat(app): dispatch HostNotifications to native plugins (API v9)
Close the no-load-callback gap: on_notification was a dead dispatch sink —
a plugin had no way to learn that the active document changed, the selection
changed, or that a document opened, so runtime designations could not be
re-seeded after a load.

Dispatch the existing plain variants at the fingerprint-guarded boundaries
the v4 bridge already uses: DocumentChanged (the active tab's settled
geometry epoch) and SelectionChanged (the selection set) leave through
BuiltinPlugin::on_notification at the post-message boundary — after the
mutation settles and pending history scopes closed, never mid-undo or
mid-pick — and at the automation post-op boundary. Plugin-initiated writes
publish immediately after settling, like the drawing-changed event; the
boundary fingerprint guard deduplicates.

Add the additive HostNotification::DocumentOpened { tab_id } variant
(discriminant 10, the counterpart of DocumentTabClosed): fired exactly once
per whole-document install — file open, template new, system open — keyed on
a new per-tab document generation, so an edit can never repeat it and a
reload fires it once. The API version stays v9 (the bump is unreleased).

Write semantics for handlers, tested and documented: a handler may call
HostApi write methods through the same session (set_reference_only at
minimum); its write bumps the epoch, the next boundary notifies once more,
and because re-marking already-designated geometry is a documented no-op —
no epoch bump, no undo step, no publish — the loop terminates. History
(undo/redo) replay itself emits nothing; the boundary is the only channel.
No Python mapping, like the rest of this increment.

Sebastian 50db12b169 refactor(scene): reference-only designation becomes a scene-scoped set (API v9)
Per the upstream review of the XDATA-based storage: the host no longer writes
its own state into the saved file. The marker record under the host-owned OCS
APPID, the on-first-use APPID registration and the verbatim-EED rewrite
handling are removed; the single source of truth is a scene-scoped in-memory
set of entity handles (Scene::reference_only) that dies with the drawing tab,
so a reopened file starts undesignated and the owning plugin re-marks on the
document-opened notification.

All behaviour sites are unchanged, driven by the set: the wire stamp moves
from an XDATA read to a set lookup threaded through the tessellation
pipelines (tessellate_entity and the dimension text path take the handle set
as a plain parameter), and the pick filters, selection retains and
update/erase refusals read Scene::is_reference_only.

Undo keeps the entity-write contract: set mutations are recorded as explicit
first-touch before/after values on each history delta (the parametric-
constraints channel pattern). A designation inside a plugin push_undo scope
joins it, a scope-less change is one step of its own, an idempotent re-mark
records nothing, erasing a designated entity drops the set entry with the
entity, and undo/redo restores entity and designation together.

The round-trip test is inverted: reference_only_designation_is_not_written_
to_dwg_or_dxf now asserts the marker appears in neither format's bytes, that
no OCS APPID or marker record survives a reload, and that the designation
stays live in memory.

Sebastian 1f552038a8 feat(plugin): reference-only entity designation on the HostApi (API v9)
The HostApi gains set_reference_only(handle, reference_only): a plugin can
designate display geometry it owns and refreshes. The entity renders like any
other, but the built-in edit paths treat it like an entity on a locked layer,
while the owning plugin keeps full write access (update, erase, XDATA).

- Appended at the trait tail with a refusing default so plugins keep compiling
against older hosts; the loader gate range is untouched.
- IPC: SetReferenceOnly / SetReferenceOnlyResult round-trip through the
shared dispatch, the V3 client and the V4 client, with the shared document
  cache invalidated on success.
- build.rs version_info and manifest API_VERSION bumped to 9 in lockstep.
- Evidence: reference_only_request_and_response_roundtrip (bincode round-trip
of the request and both response payloads).

fails.

Afonsop 61c32c7f74 web: XREFs, data links & extraction, ARCHIVE transmittals, worker-side saves
The last four big web-vs-desktop gaps.

XREFs: XATTACH reads the picked drawing's bytes and registers them
name-keyed (the image/PDF-underlay pattern), pre-parses on the web
worker, and the commit merge produces the same xref block flow as
native. Opened drawings resolve xrefs from the registry (trailing-name
match) before cache build; unresolved references produce ONE warning
listing the names and the fix — drop the referenced files on the page
(drops and picker opens now register their bytes) and reopen or
XRELOAD. XRELOAD works off the registry on unsaved drawings too.

Data Link & Extraction: spreadsheet links read picked xlsx/csv bytes
(calamine from slices / CSV from string) through a session registry,
so preview, refresh, and table-insert work on web; extraction takes
external drawings via a multi-file picker parsed on the worker, and
outputs CSV/TXT/.dxex via download_bytes. The disabled 'Add folder'
button explains why.

ARCHIVE/ETRANSMIT: assembles the drawing plus registered images, PDF
underlays, and session plot tables into a ZIP delivered as
{stem}_transmit.zip; skipped dependencies are reported by name.

Save/autosave off the UI thread: the parse worker gains a serialize
action (protocol v5) — the document is prepared once on the main
thread (clone, styles, dimension bake), then the DWG/DXF writer pass,
the dominant cost, runs on the worker; any worker failure falls back
to inline serialization with the identical shared implementation.
The save path also clears the dirty flag only when the tab didn't
change mid-write, and the runtime-fields sidecar now carries
graphic_data, fixing a pre-existing loss of raw DWG round-trip bytes
on web-opened documents.

(cherry picked from commit 2e100634)

Ported onto main (#1717 review): the new ocs_save crate builds on the
pinned codec; the hand-written ZIP writer is replaced by the zip crate
already in the tree; ARCHIVE packs registered xref bytes too and
serializes document_for_save() like a web Save; the web save prepares
document_for_save() (prepare_document_for_save now takes the copy by
value, so no second clone); the wasm resolve_path consults the xref
registry, so every reference lookup — not just resolve — finds dropped
files; XRELOAD keeps main's undo, unload and stale-baseline handling;
native data extraction streams the source drawings one at a time.

Sebastian 297a4d3074 fix(plugin): join plugin-opened undo scopes in XRecord writes
The internal per-call push_undo fractured plugin-composed operations:
history has no nested scopes, so each push finished the plugin's
still-pending scope and opened its own — an operation of several
writes became several undo steps and the plugin's label was lost
(measured: 3 creates + update + delete in one scope = 5 steps).

Follow the entity-write contract instead: a mutation inside a
plugin-opened push_undo scope joins it, so the whole operation is a
single undo step under the plugin's label; a scope-less mutation opens
and finishes its own scope, keeping one undo step per call; refusals
record no undo step in either regime. Document the contract on the
trait methods and the host docs; the composition experiment becomes
the permanent xrecord_writes_join_a_plugin_initiated_undo_scope test.

Sebastian ca2f0c9857 feat(plugin): name-addressed XRecord CRUD on the HostApi (API v8)
Add create/read/update/delete/list for XRecord objects under
named-object-dictionary paths to the plugin HostApi, with five additive
PluginRequest/PluginResponse variants, dispatch through the shared
handler, in-process HostSession methods and both out-of-process proxies.

- dictionary paths walk from the NOD root; create seeds missing
dictionaries (ensure_image_dictionary bootstrap) and refuses existing
names; update refuses missing ones; refusals precede the undo step
- entry group codes validated (1..=369, never 5/105); payload content is
  the plugin's own
- each mutating call is one undo step: the pending history snapshot
restores the objects map byte-exactly, auto-created dictionaries
  included (tested)
- typed entries survive DWG and DXF write/reload round-trips (tested);
update drops verbatim raw bytes so saves emit the new content
- bump API_VERSION 7 -> 8 with the build.rs version_info in lockstep,
  mirroring the v7 addition; MIN_SUPPORTED stays 3

- Pins: codec 8189f83, kernel a82f17d, graph d3558bb (all manifests and
  the python plugin lock).
- MASSPROP reports volume, centroid, inertia, products, radii of
gyration and principal moments of 3D solids and bodies from their
B-rep (exact where analytic, else from a fine mesh).
- OFFSET of ellipses and splines through the kernel's curve offset.
- FILLET between circles, ellipses and splines through the kernel's
curve-curve fillet, trimming arcs and open splines to the tangents.

The kernel bump brings the DWG ACIS audit fixes: slices, booleans and
press/pull on cones, slanted cylinder sections, survey coordinates,
spline walls and touching parts.

Hakan Seven 435038d364 Merge pull request #1660 from ramox81/codex/sweep-solid-validity
SWEEP: base point from the path; kernel sweep validity fixes

The fork pin the PR carried ([patch] to ramox81/cadkernel 30b3810) is
resolved to upstream instead: kernel 99b6b48 (opencadkernel #78-#83),
codec c9ffcac (opencadcodec #102, #103), graph 7f6aae7, in every manifest.

DWG layout owners and the overall paper-space viewport read back as
written (opencadcodec#78, opencadcodec#80).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 ac086def56 review(#1653): upstream pins, registered expression xdata, table apply refreshes sweeps
- Cargo: drop the fork patches; codec 8e93175, kernel 0665fc9, graph
3b91e67 in every manifest and lock.
- A swept surface's expression link is written through set_entity_xdata,
so OCS_SWEEP_EXPRESSION has its APPID record and the record its handle.
- Applying the whole named-parameter table also rebuilds the swept
surfaces linked to expressions, not only a single-row edit.
- swept_surface_entity keeps its doc comment.
- The native-constraint tests find a scope's network through its own
dictionary, where it is now stored.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 1eae36e726 Cargo: codec 76d2a1c, kernel e652b4d, graph 0545fa9; text styles, templates, solid edges
- Text styles keep their TrueType typeface through save and reopen (codec
reads and writes the STYLE record's ACAD extended data) (#1633)
- Unnamed shape-file entries no longer show in text style lists (#1634)
- Save As offers DWT 2018; NEW asks for the template to start from, while
Ctrl+N and the quick-access New run QNEW with the default template (#1635)
- An edge next to an earlier fillet of the same radius rounds together with
it (kernel); the solid stays drawn and pickable while edges are chosen
  (#1625, #1107)
- A full cache rebuild drops the B-rep cache too, so an undone fillet does
not come back with the next edge operation (#1107)
- Selected solids in shaded styles highlight only their visible edges (#1031)
- VIEW ISO / SWISO / SEISO / NEISO / NWISO snap to the isometric corners
