Karim Jerbi 8265444fd6 test(explode): cover ByBlock transparency and linetype on EXPLODE
The codec explode resolver started resolving those two in e6486c0.
These two tests cover the command path: the INSERT's ByBlock children
take the insert's transparency and linetype, and a child that already
names its own keeps them.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 e4d04ef132 Cargo: codec e023bc3 (acadrust sync), kernel abca4e8, graph c63556f
The codec now holds wide EntityType variants boxed (MText, Helix,
Dimension, Hatch, Viewport, MultiLeader, Surface, Table, Ole2Frame,
Light, Extended). Constructors box their entity; nested patterns reach
a dimension through entities::dimension::as_dimension(_mut). Also
follows BlockAction::action_ids, LineTypeComplexData::source_flags and
the decimal tab stop with an explicit character.

Karim Jerbi 8d287decd8 fix(explode): use codec block explosion for attributes and arrays
Delegate INSERT and MINSERT explosion to the document-aware codec implementation, removing duplicate attribute and base-point handling. Update workspace, kernel and graph pins together and cover rotated arrays with a nonzero base.

Karim Jerbi 59bb6faabd fix(blocks): enforce constant attributes in ATTEDIT and restore ATTDEFs on explode
Enforce constant attribute flag in ATTEDIT dialog by presenting constant attributes as disabled and ignoring modifications. When exploding an insert, restore block-definition attribute definitions as transformed ATTDEF entities while dropping instance attribute values.

Karim Jerbi 5dfa41c032 fix(blocks): one base point convention for creation, redefine, insert, explode, XCLIP and REFEDIT
world = insert_point + Rot * Scale * (P - base_point). Attribute placement, EXPLODE, XCLIP storage, REFEDIT's working copy, the UCS reframe of attributes and the dynamic-block visibility grip ignored the base point and were offset by Rot*Scale*base. They now share insert_transform_with_base. Creation stores a ZERO base and redefine resets it; a no-op redefine moves nothing; the Block Definition dialog prefills the base from the definition. XCLIP filters stored by older builds keep their old displacement.

Karim Jerbi a456367b26 fix(save): baked dimension blocks and block clones must not share extension dictionaries
bake_dimension_blocks copied the dimension's whole EntityCommon, including its extension dictionary handle, into every baked child, so many entities claimed one dictionary and file validation reported an error per entity. Baked children now get no extension dictionary. The same defect is fixed in define_transformed_block and the cross-document paste clone. Each has a test.

Karim Jerbi 7d1fca000b fix(io): materialize missing BLOCK/ENDBLK sentinels on load
The DXF reader keeps marker identities on the block record but never materializes the entities, so block_entity_handle/block_end_handle dangle after every DXF load (reopened baked *D dimension blocks hit this every time). Re-create missing sentinels at load finalize, reusing the file handle when free and minting otherwise. Idempotent and DWG-safe: loads whose markers already resolve are untouched. Pinned by dimlinear_survives_save_reload_with_baked_geometry.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 1f5a7e97a1 fix(dimension): a dimension drawn live matches its baked block
Once edited, a dimension is drawn live instead of from its *D block;
on the #898 drawing that differed in three places:

- Oblique / architectural-tick strokes were DIMASZ/2 to each side, the
block's are DIMASZ/sqrt(2) (its unit stroke runs corner to corner).
- Arrowheads and ticks shared the dimension line's wire, so a dashed
dim line broke its ticks into stubs. They get their own solid wire
(and explode as lines as before).
- A diameter's user-positioned text was lifted by the DIMTAD offset even
when the stored point already was the text's middle, as a file saved
elsewhere writes it; it is lifted only when it lies on the leader
  (#1323's case).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 f537aff75c feat: node graph overlay; move to opencadcodec/opencadkernel/opencadgraph
The codec and kernel repositories and crates are renamed opencadcodec and
opencadkernel. Inside OCS they are depended on under short keys, so code
reads `codec::`, `kernel::` and the new `graph::` (opencadgraph, the node
graph engine). File-format and protocol spellings stay as they were: the
ACIS product id `acadrust`, the ACADRUST_* switches and the plugin
version keys `acadrust_version` / `acadrust_source`.

A button left of MCP on the command line opens a translucent node graph
over the viewport, with a palette of object, input, math, logic, list,
text and geometry nodes added by click or drag. An object node owns
drawing entities and its rows are the Properties panel's own rows for
them: the single-object page is extracted from refresh_properties as
entity_property_sections, values use the control protocol's
property_json, and writes go through set_property_value with a property
target override, so the panel, MCP and the graph share one read/write
path. A list reaching an object row makes one entity per element. Each
graph action is one undo step; the canvas pans and zooms.

Karim Jerbi 652f4d6bbc feat(blocks): implement Block Definition dialog (BLOCK/BMAKE) with on-screen sequencing
Implement the complete Block Definition dialog window launched via BLOCK
and BMAKE commands, featuring standard CAD layout, workflows, and entity
creation pipelines.

- Dialog UI & Layout:
  - 2-column compact CAD grid with synchronized vertical heights (580 × 390px).
  - Editable combobox with existing block names, invalid character validation,
    and inline redefinition badge.
  - Multi-line text editor widget for block descriptions (replacing single-line input).
  - Quick Select (QSELECT) button integration restoring dialog state upon completion.
  - Confirmation guard when attempting to redefine an existing block definition.
  - Centered radio buttons, clean coordinate inputs, and accessible keyboard shortcuts.

- Base Point & On-Screen Workflow:
  - BlockOnScreenCommand strictly enforces prompt sequencing: Base point is
    prompted before object selection.
  - Dynamically recalculates world_to_block and block_to_world affine transforms
when base point is specified on-screen, preventing stale (0,0,0) normalization.
  - Supports Retain, Convert to block (INSERT placement), and Delete modes.

- Explode Enforcement:
  - Guarded EXPLODE command to prevent decomposing blocks flagged as non-explodable.

- Dynamic Themed Icons:
  - Added pick_point.svg, select_objects.svg, quick_select.svg, and warning_triangle.svg.
  - Routed all icons through the semantic theming engine so line work (#B4B6B9)
and accents (#6DB7ED) adapt automatically to the active theme.

- Tests:
  - Added unit tests for retain/convert/delete modes, redefinition, explodable flag,
on-screen base point transform recalculation, and command sequencing.

Christopher OverbeckandClaude Opus 5 a3d65e2fc8 Bound typed counts and values that could crash the editor
- ARRAYRECT, ARRAYPOLAR, ARRAYPATH, ARRAY3D and COPY Array reject item
counts above 100,000 (checked as a product of every dimension) and keep
the prompt open. Unbounded counts allocated one transform per item and
aborted on allocation failure. Stored defaults are clamped as well.
- EXPLODE leaves a MINSERT above the same limit intact instead of
  materializing every cell.
- Typed lengths and angles reject non-finite values and magnitudes above
  1e15; SCALE rejects a non-finite factor.
- Zero-radius FILLET compares candidate intersections with total_cmp and
rejects non-finite results; partial_cmp().unwrap() panicked on NaN.
- SOLID falls back to a minimal kernel tolerance when its corners' extent
overflows, since Tolerance::new panics on infinity.

kevin9327andClaude Opus 5 c13e86b87d fix(dimension): draw linear and aligned dimensions in their own plane off world Z
A linear or aligned dimension whose normal is not world Z was drawn and
exploded as if it lay in world XY. The builders read the offset and the
extension directions in XY only, so a dimension turned into a working plane
such as XZ lost its offset (now along Z): the dimension line fell onto the
measured points and the extension lines stuck out along world Y.

Move such a dimension into its own OCS before building it and map the result
back onto its plane, as arc length and large radial dimensions already do,
for both tessellation and EXPLODE.

JOIN, PEDIT convert, and EXPLODE rebuild polyline-family entities from

in Properties reset to 0 after those edits. Carry the source thickness
onto the rebuilt Line/LwPolyline and every exploded piece, like trim and
break already do for arcs.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5 d0cc3284d2 refactor(modify): take plane geometry from cadkernel
TRIM, FILLET and EXPLODE each carried their own copy of the same plane
maths. The copies had already drifted apart: `ll` differed only in
parameter names between trim.rs and fillet.rs, `arc_pts` only in which
angle helper it called, and `norm` meant angle normalisation in trim.rs
and explode.rs while meaning vector normalisation in two other files.

The implementations now live in cadkernel's geom2d. A new local `geom`
module adapts the call shapes — the kernel takes `[f64; 2]` points and
returns `[f64; 3]`, while these commands pass loose scalars and feed
`WireModel::points`, which is `[f32; 3]`. Narrowing stays on this side
because only the caller knows whether it is a preview wire, which leaves
`points_low` empty and accepts the loss, or resident geometry, which
splits the f64 into a high/low pair instead.

Call sites are untouched: the kernel functions are imported under the old
local names, so the signatures they were written against still hold.

This also fixes ELLIPSE trim and extend previews. `ellipse_pts` wrote its
components as [x, z, y] while `arc_pts` — reached from the same match in
`entity_pts`, feeding the same `[f32; 3]` — wrote [x, y, z], and
`WireModel::points` is documented as world-space positions. Ellipse
previews were collapsing onto y = 0 and displacing along Z. The kernel's
`ellipse_arc` orders them correctly, so delegating corrects it.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 4164ef7111 fix(dimension): re-bake the *D block after in-place edits (#181)
OCS renders a dimension live from its definition points but exports a
baked *D block that other applications draw. An in-place edit (DIMTEDIT,
text override, DIMSPACE, any ReplaceEntity/ReplaceMany edit) changed the
dimension while leaving the old block, so the export kept the pre-edit
graphics — BricsCAD/ODA showed the stale dimension while OCS showed the
edit.

Add explode::invalidate_dim_block, which drops a dimension's baked *D
block (record + owned sub-entities, so no orphan blocks accumulate) and
clears block_name; bake_dimension_blocks then rebuilds a fresh block on
the next save. Call it from the in-place edit paths. The transform path
(MOVE/COPY/PASTE) keeps its own block in sync and is left untouched, so
dimensions loaded from other applications and not edited are preserved.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 aca2b952a5 fix(dimension): zero the group-12 insertion point on baked blocks (#181)
A dimension's *D block is baked in absolute WCS, so the DWG group-12
insertion point must be the origin. OCS's dimension commands seeded it
with the text anchor, so a reader that positions the block by that point
(BricsCAD / ODA) drew the dimension shifted by the offset, while OCS —
which renders the block in place — showed it correctly.

Reset base.insertion_point to the origin in bake_dimension_blocks, where
the absolute-WCS block is created. Only dimensions whose block OCS bakes
are touched; blocks preserved from other applications (baseline/continue
dimensions with a legitimate non-zero clone insertion) are left alone.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 12f4264183 feat(dimension): bake full arrow shapes, arrow-fit, fixed-length ext lines
Completes the bake↔live dimension parity from the audit:

- terminators now reproduce the style's actual arrow block: dim_metrics
resolves arrow1/arrow2 via arrow_from_block (DIMTSZ tick, DIMBLK /
DIMBLK1+DIMBLK2 per DIMSAH, else closed-filled), and dim_terminator bakes
each kind (None, filled/blank triangle, tick, open, dot, origin, box,
datum) as Line + SOLID — no more every arrow degrading to a filled triangle
- short dimensions flip their arrows outside with stubs (DIMSOXD honoured)
when the arrowheads don't fit between the extension lines (DIM-ARROWS-OUTSIDE)
- DIMFXLON fixed-length extension lines via ext_endpoints (DIM-FXL)

Refs #181. Remaining (annotative viewport scale at non-1:1, the ~1deg angular
arrowhead-tangent cosmetic, and DIMTFILL text-break gap) are niche/cosmetic
and tracked separately.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 58da76ff70 fix(dimension): baked *D block matches live render (gaps, arrows, leaders, text)
Brings the save-time *D-block bake into parity with the live render so a
dimension no longer changes when the file is saved and reopened (the reload
draws from the block). Per a bake-vs-live audit:

- text is now the live render's own Text/MText entity (alignment, MText
codes, text style, alignment point) — fixes every label shifting ~half a
  glyph on reload
- extension lines carry the DIMEXO start gap + DIMEXE overshoot, and slant
  by ext_line_rotation (DIMEDIT Oblique)
- terminators follow the style: oblique tick when DIMTSZ>0, else a closed
filled SOLID arrow (was a generic open stroke)
- angular dims bake the swept arc + tangent terminators, flush extension
  lines (matching live exactly)
- radius/diameter bake the leader leg; diameter runs edge-to-edge through
the centre; centre mark honours negative DIMCEN (centre lines)
- per-element colours/lineweights (DIMCLRD/E/T, DIMLWD/E), DIMSE/DIMSD
  suppression, DIMDLE tick overshoot
- consistent arc sweep at exactly 180 degrees

Refs #181. Remaining (custom DIMBLK arrow shapes, DIMFXLON, arrow-outside
fit, annotative viewport scale) tracked separately.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 3c5aa4453a fix(dimension): bake↔live consistency, edits, baseline/continue, grips
Batch 1-3 of the dimension audit (19 issues). The dominant class was the
baked *D block diverging from the live render: a reloaded dimension renders
from that block, so on save+reopen it silently changed.

Bake now matches the live render:
- text value/format via the shared style-resolved path (DIMDEC/DIMLFAC/
DIMPOST/units/<>), correct height + rotation ladder, suppression
- angular dims bake their swept arc (no longer collapse to a V)
- diameter draws edge-to-edge through the centre (live + bake), centre mark
- radius/linear/aligned bake arrowheads
- group-10 (base.definition_point) synced from the edited geometry so an
edited dim no longer shifts on reload

Editing / properties:
- aligned no longer corrupts ext_line_rotation when a coordinate is edited
- DIMTEDIT pins the moved text (text_user_positioned)
- angle properties shown/edited in degrees
- non-linear text respects the user-positioned gate

Commands / geometry:
- DIMBASELINE stacks outward (not toward the points) and its preview no
  longer tilts over non-level points
- DIMCONTINUE/DIMBASELINE inherit the base dim's text rotation (UCS chains)
- angular extension lines reach the arc (no gap)
- text grip sits on the text for auto-placed dims instead of the origin

DIMEDIT to follow.)

Kevin GriffinandClaude Opus 4.8 d477c39cbe fix(dimension): bake a *D block on save so dimensions survive in other CAD
A DWG DIMENSION references an anonymous *D<n> block that holds its drawn
geometry; AutoCAD-family readers render that block rather than re-deriving it
from the definition points. OCS re-tessellates dimensions for display and never
materialises the block, so on save a created dimension goes out referencing a
block that doesn't exist and the writer emits a null block handle. Strict
readers (DWG TrueView, QCAD) then drop the dimension or demand a recovery, and
lenient ones (BricsCAD) regenerate it at a different position.

Add bake_dimension_blocks(), called on the cloned document in
io::save_as_version / save_to_bytes, which builds a *D<n> anonymous block from
each block-less dimension's exploded geometry (extension lines + dimension line
+ measurement text) and points its block_name at it. Dimensions that already
own a block (imported, or copied via the *D-cloning copy path) are left
untouched.

Verified end-to-end: before, AutoCAD/Civil 3D 2026 reads 0 dimensions from an
OCS-saved file; after baking it reads all of them.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 4f7a98a2ad feat(f64): command layer compiles on DVec3
Whole command/snap/grip/cursor chain now builds on f64 DVec3 end to end,
so picked points, snaps and grip drags stay precise at UTM-scale
coordinates instead of quantizing to ~0.5 m through f32.

- All ~80 command files migrated: draw (line/circle/arc/ellipse/shapes
in full f64; others via point methods), modify, annotate, insert, view,
  inquiry, layers, groups, clipboard, layout.
- Entity apply_grip impls updated for GripApply::{Absolute,Translate}(DVec3).
- Construction sites (EntityTransform/CmdResult/DynAnchor) emit DVec3;
wire-preview boundaries cast to f32 only at the GPU edge.
- Modify/annotate commands keep internal Vec3 geometry where precision is
non-critical, casting at the DVec3 boundary; key draw commands store f64.

Builds clean (no warnings). Visual verification of crosshair/snap/grip at
extreme UTM zoom pending.
