Collapse the triplicated send/timeout/deadline/nested-request loop in interactive_event, get_prompt and needs_entity_pick into PluginProcess::call_simple. Timeout floors, error strings and UnexpectedResponse behavior preserved exactly. Net: +64 / -72 in one file, no behavior change. Verified: cargo check clean, cargo test -p ocs_plugin_api --lib --features host (92 passed), clippy shows only pre-existing warnings.
The ad-hoc codesign path signed the whole bundle with one --deep pass,
which never carried --entitlements to the QuickLook appex, so PlugInKit
silently rejected it as unsandboxed. Sign nested code individually
instead, matching the Developer ID path.
Separately, ThumbnailProvider drew the extracted preview at its native
pixel size anchored at the CGContext origin (bottom-left) instead of
scaling it to fill request.maximumSize, producing a small thumbnail
stuck in one corner instead of a properly sized, centered icon.
Note: Gatekeeper still rejects an ad-hoc or unnotarized Developer-ID
signature outright, and PlugInKit periodically re-validates and drops
any registered plugin that fails that check — so these fixes are
necessary but not sufficient for thumbnails to render from a build
that isn't both signed and notarized.

- Drop crates/ocs_doc_api from workspace and host dependency.
- Remove src/app/doc_api.rs and its module declaration.
- Strip DocApi v2 undo/dispatch plumbing from HostSession.
- Remove HostApi::doc_api_dispatch default method.
- Remove PluginRequest::DocApiRequest / PluginResponse::DocApiResponse.
- Revert plugin API version from 6 back to 5.
Use the maintained cadkernel main revision and retain source surfaces. Verify signed and two-point input, partial failure, DWG round-trips and one-step undo/redo of solids and history objects.
Preserve main's validation, atomic bulk operations, profile planes, kernel geometry, transport limits and complete Python bindings. The submitted implementation reverted those existing fixes; retain its documentation intent without restoring the regressions.
