selune 0e500cacd3 Render: add backend capability discovery and strict request resolution (#650)
Adds render.backends, a metadata-only command that lists the render backends, their executors and profiles, with strict request resolution in the render crate (docs/render-backends.md).

bherbruck 4e595deff2 feat: preserve adaptive sketch profiles and curved modeling workflows 2026-10-11 09:06:25 -04:00
CypherNaugh_0x 21e0e99c86 Model renders (screenshot with source model, ui.render) show the section the window shows: the CPU renderer drew the cut face on the far walls at their own depth in a plain grey hatch, so the inside of the body, its edges and the grid showed through it and the cut barely read as a section, it had no outline, perspective views cut along a curve, and an open Section Analysis dialog's preview (or a sketch's Slice) was ignored. The cut face now writes the section plane's depth where it is the visible surface (the CPU counterpart of the viewport's stencil cap), takes the viewport's cap tint and hatch, the cut outline is drawn (section_segments moved from the UI to engine::view and shared), world positions and lines are clipped perspective-correctly, and ui.render in the app uses the viewport's section plane 2026-10-11 12:23:57 +02:00
bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 322a357dee Y-up worlds in the camera: an up axis on the camera (Z by default, or Y), with yaw and pitch measured about it; standard views, the home view, Look At, orbit, pan, the ground grid (XZ with Y up), the ground shadow and snapshots follow it. ui upAxis setting (app.set_up_axis re-aims and frames); cam.up_dir / to_frame / from_frame for the view cube and others

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 7e0618d64b Release pipeline after PhotoCraft's: AppImage/deb/rpm/Flatpak/tar.gz for Linux x86_64 and aarch64, FreeBSD, a macOS dmg and CLI zip, Windows x64/x86/arm64 MSI and portable zip (plus the plain x64 exe), web zip, SHA256SUMS.txt; version 0.1.2
Adapted from storytold/photocraft's release.yml and packaging/ (Apache-2.0; ATTRIBUTION.md and
NOTICE say so). Packages install the licence files, THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.txt included. The app
icon is drawn by `solvecraft-cli icon` (a blue block with a bore, rendered on a transparent
background; .ico too), so no image is committed. Notes: a short header plus GitHub's generated
What's Changed. A dry run (Run workflow, publish off) keeps the files as the release-assets
artifact. packaging-lint.yml checks the workflows, scripts and metadata.
