Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 c59a584d14 feat(properties): copy read-only property values to the clipboard
A read-only value cell is now click-to-copy: clicking writes the full,
un-elided value to the system clipboard (copy cursor on hover). One
change in render_ro_row, so it covers every read-only row for every
entity. Adds Message::PropCopyValue routed through iced::clipboard::write.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 0e74a11724 feat(web): show Patreon supporters on the web build too
The browser can't call the Patreon API directly (CORS, and the token
would be exposed in the bundle), so the web build fetches a
pre-generated supporters.json served on the same origin. The Pages
workflow generates it server-side with the token (CI secret) after the
trunk build. Native keeps its live API fetch.

serde_json moves to the shared dependencies so the wasm build can parse
the list.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 608fe5ec3e feat(start): show paying Patreon supporters on the Start page
Add a right-hand rail on the Start page listing active paying patrons
(name + pledge amount, highest first) with a "Support on Patreon" button.
The list is fetched once at boot from the Patreon API in the background;
free followers, $0 tiers, declined and former patrons are excluded.

The creator access token is read at build time from OCS_PATREON_TOKEN
(option_env!), so it never lives in source or git — the release workflow
passes it from a repo secret, and build.rs re-bakes when it changes.
Without a token the rail just shows the support button.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 d6e5b38847 fix(properties): close color picker when a panel dropdown opens (#235)
The Properties panel color picker is a custom bool-driven dropdown, while
Layer/Linetype/Lineweight are combo_boxes. Combo_boxes close each other on
blur, but nothing closed the color picker — so opening the Layer dropdown
while the color picker was open left both showing and overlapping.

Give every panel combo_box an on_open handler that collapses the color
picker, so at most one panel dropdown is open at a time.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 1e9de924be feat(command-line): copy/clear history + selectable log (#232)
The command-line history dropdown was display-only, so users had to
screenshot and OCR the log to report output. Make it copyable:

- Render the whole backlog in one read-only text_editor so a single
mouse drag selects across lines and Ctrl+C copies the span.
- Add Copy (whole log to clipboard) and Clear buttons to the dropdown.
- Gate the Ctrl+C/X/V accelerators on event Status::Ignored so a focused
  text widget's copy/cut/paste wins instead of firing COPYCLIP/CUTCLIP;
the drawing's clipboard shortcuts still work when it has focus.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 ada9952f06 feat(layers): multi-select layers in the Layer Manager (#236)
The Layer Manager only allowed one layer at a time. Now:

- Ctrl/Cmd-click toggles a layer in the selection; Shift-click selects
the range from the anchor; a plain click selects just one.
- Colour, linetype and lineweight changes apply to every selected layer.
- Delete removes all selected layers at once (reusing the #237 non-empty
warning, now pluralised); layer "0" and the current layer are skipped.

Selection is stored as row indices but re-resolved by name across sorts
and layer-table rebuilds, so it never points at the wrong rows. Modifier
state is tracked via a new SetModifiers message (shift + ctrl/cmd).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 2712bb80e4 fix(layers): deleting a non-empty layer warns and removes its objects (#237)
Deleting a layer only dropped the layer record, leaving its objects in the
file still tagged with the (now-gone) layer name. Now:

- Empty layer → deleted straight away.
- Non-empty layer → a warning modal ("Layer X is not empty — N objects;
deleting also removes them. Continue?") with Delete Objects / Cancel.
Confirming erases every object on the layer, then removes the layer, as
one undo step. The layer record is dropped before the erase so the
locked-layer guard can't keep its objects.
- Layer "0" and the current layer can't be deleted (reported on the
command line) instead of silently leaving a broken state.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 7764b6cbf9 feat(statusbar): Select All/Clear All in filter popup, drop osnap settings row
The selection-filter popup now has the same Select All / Clear All header
as the OSNAP popup: Select All clears every exclusion (all types
selectable), Clear All excludes every present type. Each button disables
when it would be a no-op.

Also remove the "Object Snap Settings…" footer from the OSNAP popup.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 0b60bcc075 feat(attedit): enhanced attribute editor with 3 tabs
Grow the attribute editor into a three-tab enhanced editor:
- Attribute: the tag/prompt/value list; click a row to select it, edit
  its value below.
- Text Options: the selected attribute's Text Style, Justification,
Height, Rotation, Width Factor, Oblique Angle, Backwards, Upside down.
- Properties: the selected attribute's Layer, Linetype, Color,
Lineweight (the colour list also surfaces a non-standard current
colour so it displays and round-trips).

Applying writes value, text-formatting and common-property edits back to
each attribute positionally (guarded on block name + count), with undo
and a repaint. OK/Cancel are replaced by a single Apply button in a top
toolbar that commits but keeps the dialog open, matching the other modal
windows — the frame ✕ closes and discards un-applied edits. The frame
adopts the shared style-window palette, tab styling and sizing.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 0eb347bf47 feat(attedit): show attribute prompts in the editor
Each row in the attribute editor now shows the attribute's prompt — the
text defined on the block's ATTDEF — falling back to the tag when the
block defines no prompt. The prompt is read from the block definition,
since attribute instances carry only tag + value.

Bumps the acadrust pin to pull the matching reader fix: its DWG object
reader was discarding the ATTDEF prompt, so every prompt came back empty.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 86a59d6c7e feat(attedit): attribute editor dialog for blocks
Double-clicking a block reference that has attributes, or running ATTEDIT
on one, now opens an editor dialog listing every attribute (tag + editable
value) with OK / Cancel. OK writes the values back to the block, with undo
and a repaint; Cancel discards. A block with no attributes still enters
in-place block edit (REFEDIT) on double-click as before. (#192)

ATTEDIT opens the dialog directly when a suitable block is already
selected; otherwise it runs the pick command and the dialog opens once a
block is chosen. This replaces the earlier command-line, per-attribute
prompt flow, which is removed along with its __ATTEDIT__ sentinel path and
the now-unused attedit_set_attrs trait hook; the ATTEDIT command is reduced
to a plain block picker.

The dialog is a tab-scoped in-canvas modal (Plan B): its working copy holds
a document-local handle, so closing that tab or switching away dismisses the
editor rather than risk applying edits to another tab's document.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 5f2e920b75 feat(properties): show & edit block attributes in panel
Selecting an INSERT with attributes now adds an editable "Attributes"
section to the Properties panel — each tag is a row whose value can be
changed inline (Enter commits, undo works, the attribute text repaints).
Previously attribute values could only be reached through ATTEDIT, which
didn't let them be changed (#192).

Attribute tags are runtime strings, so they can't ride the geometry
edit path whose field key is `&'static str`; a dedicated PropValue::
AttrText variant plus PropAttrInput/PropAttrCommit messages carry the
tag. Values are stored verbatim (no expression evaluation, since
attribute text is free-form).

Also guard the panel's in-progress edit buffer: it now only carries
across a rebuild when the selection is unchanged (a commit-triggered
refresh), so a typed-but-uncommitted value can't display or commit onto
a different entity — e.g. two title blocks sharing a REV1 tag. This
closes a latent stale-buffer leak that affected geometry fields too.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 02d2764e45 feat(io): autosave to .sv$ recovery files (SAVETIME command) (#205)
A periodic subscription (every SAVETIME minutes — default 10, 0 disables)
writes a <name>.sv$ recovery copy of each dirty, already-saved drawing at its
own DWG version. Non-destructive: it never touches the original file or the
dirty flag, and skips unsaved (path-less) tabs. The SAVETIME command
sets/queries the interval and persists it. Recovery files (.sv$ and .bak) open
through the normal Open dialog — the loader detects DWG vs DXF from the leading
magic bytes, and a "Backup / Autosave" filter lists them.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 54186309b2 refactor(io): set up file association once, not on every launch (#205)
Drop the every-launch (re)registration thread. File association is now set up
once via the first-launch prompt (Yes → register + set default; No → decline,
persisted as file_assoc_enabled) and managed afterwards by the FILEASSOC
command. set_default_app now registers the handler entries (.desktop / mime /
ProgIDs) itself before asking the OS to default to us, since boot no longer
does — so the default never points at a missing handler.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 9ea800f049 feat(io): FILEASSOC command to toggle file association on/off (#205)
`FILEASSOC 1` (re)registers the app as a .dwg/.dxf/.bak handler; `FILEASSOC 0`
unregisters it (removes the .desktop + CAD mime package on Linux, the per-user
registry keys on Windows); bare `FILEASSOC` reports the current state. The
choice persists (file_assoc_enabled) and gates the every-launch
re-registration, so turning it off stays off across restarts.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 962268e16e feat(io): .bak backup-on-save + open .bak as a supported type (#205)
- Save: overwriting an existing file first copies it to a sibling <name>.bak
(default on; toggle with the ISAVEBAK command, persisted in settings).
- Open: .bak is a first-class type — the Open dialog lists it and the loader
detects DWG vs DXF from the file's leading magic bytes (the extension hides
  the real format).
- File association registers .bak too, every launch (so users who associated
earlier get it automatically): Windows via the registry; Linux via a
high-priority shared-mime-info magic that resolves DWG/DXF content under the
.bak extension, with the generic *.bak glob claimed only once the app is the
default DWG handler — so it never hijacks other apps' backups.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 b77187e672 feat(save): warn before dropping AEC/Civil objects or overwriting on Save-As
Two in-canvas confirmations on the Save-As path:

- AEC/Civil drop warning: when the drawing carries unsupported AEC/Civil
(application) objects that survive only as verbatim source-version bytes,
saving to a different version or to DXF would silently drop them. The
dialog reports the count and offers "Save in source version" (keep) vs
"Save anyway" (drop). Same-version DWG saves are lossless and skip it.
- Overwrite confirmation: when the chosen filename already exists in the
target folder, "Replace" / "Cancel" before clobbering it.

The two chain (AEC first, then overwrite) via per-flow acknowledgement flags
reset whenever the Save dialog opens or closes. Detection is a new
io::dropped_on_save_count over the document's Unknown (raw-passthrough)
objects/entities.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 c19c18c2f2 feat(commands): expand standard CAD command coverage
Integrate a large batch of standard CAD commands and fix several
name/behaviour mismatches, with no product references in code.

3D solids (reusing the truck B-rep pipeline):
- SLICE, INTERFERE, PRESSPULL, POLYSOLID, PYRAMID, SECTION
- 3DROTATE, 3DMIRROR, 3DALIGN (cached-solid transforms)

Annotation / text:
- ARCTEXT, SPLINEFIT (Catmull-Rom to Bezier), DIMJOGGED, OBJECTSCALE
(XData markers honoured by the existing geometry-gen / tessellator)

Blocks / misc:
- NCOPY (block-content extraction via explode_entity)
- OPTIONS, SYNCPVIEWPORTS, THICKEN, plus earlier toggles, aliases,
  system variables, and layer/style/view commands

POINTCLOUD/RECAP and UNDERLAYLAYERS/UOSNAP are intentionally left out:
they require a proprietary binary / PDF-layer parser, a GPU point
renderer, and real test files.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 b691854e7a feat(viewport): RMB 1st=Enter, 2nd=menu (no setting)
Replaces the opt-in `rmb_enter` setting (and `RMBENTER` command) with
always-on behavior. While a command is active, the first viewport
right-click acts as Enter (commit / close) and a second consecutive
right-click opens the context menu instead. Idle right-click still opens
the menu; right-drag still orbits.

The cycle is tracked per tab (`right_click_entered`) and restarts on any
other interaction — a left-click pick, a new command, an orbit, or
leaving the viewport — so the next right-click is Enter again.

Refines #185.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 098585bb2d feat(viewport): RMB=Enter option + timed right-click
Adds a configurable right-mouse-button behavior without disturbing orbit
or the context menu.

- New persisted setting `rmb_enter` (command `RMBENTER [ON|OFF]`, default
off): when on, a right-click while a command is active acts as Enter
(commit/close); when idle it still opens the context menu. Right-drag
always orbits, so nothing is lost.
- Right-click vs orbit is now time-based: orbit engages only after the
button is held >=150ms and the pointer moves, so a quick right-click is
no longer swallowed by slight pointer jitter (was an 8px distance gate).
- The right-click Repeat menu now lists commands from every source
(command line, ribbon, context menu, shortcuts) via a unified
recents list recorded at the dispatch choke point, instead of only
  typed commands.

Closes #185

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 3def2f2034 feat(statusbar): scrollable layout tabs + layout-list dropdown (#199)
Keep the right-side status-bar tools from being pushed off the bar when a
drawing has many layouts: the layout tabs now live in a horizontal scrollable
that only takes the space left between the menu and the tools, with ‹ › arrows
(and the mouse wheel) to scroll them.

Repurpose the leftmost hamburger — which previously fired a no-op MENU command
— to open a dropdown listing Model and every layout (scrollable, current
highlighted); picking one switches to it, an outside click dismisses it.

Swap the two "Free and open source" / "Community driven" text cards on the

the video in the system browser (new Message::OpenUrl → sys::open_url). The

the JPEG every frame and the image only appeared after a long delay.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 495b13ec4f refactor(viewport): migrate model-space tiling to iced pane_grid
Replace the custom model_tiles tiling with iced 0.14 pane_grid as the layout
source of truth, while paper-space floating viewports are left untouched (they
overlap/free-place, which pane_grid cannot model).

Each Model pane is its own shader widget rendering its camera into the pane
bounds; the renderer Primitive carries a base_slot so several shader widgets
share the type-keyed MultiPipeline storage on disjoint slots. A second pane_grid
of transparent mouse_areas (plus on_resize) layers above the crosshair overlay
to receive input — the overlay's Hidden cursor interaction otherwise levitates
the cursor and starves any layer beneath it. The active pane follows the cursor
(hover-activate), and grid / crosshair / UCS icon render per pane while the
ViewCube and render-mode picker stay on the active pane only.

Split / close / VPORTS presets and the VPort table round-trip now drive
pane_grid (guillotine reconstruction on load). Adds drag-to-swap via a controls
bar handle with a ghost-card preview, visible pane dividers from the pane_grid
split regions, a default model background of RGB(33,40,48), and removes all the
superseded custom-tile code.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 edcf24e324 feat(ucs): interactive UCS icon with origin-snap grips, world-fixed compass
The UCS icon now anchors to the projected UCS origin when it is on-screen
(falling back to the bottom-left corner), and becomes a selectable object:
hover highlights it, a click shows draggable grips, and dragging the origin
grip relocates the UCS while the X/Y tip grips rotate it. Drags snap to
geometry/grid through the existing snapper, and the new UCS is persisted on
release. The icon stays selectable while parked in the corner.

Also make the ViewCube compass (N/E/S/W) world-fixed: the cube body still
reorients with the active UCS, but the cardinals project through a camera-only
rotation and snap in world frame, so the directions no longer spin with the UCS.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 a502379048 refactor: group ui/ statusbar and window subdirs
Continue tidying the flat ui/ root:

- ui/statusbar/: statusbar.rs becomes statusbar/mod.rs (its
crate::ui::statusbar::* paths are preserved) and absorbs
  statusbar_config.rs + statusbar_menu.rs.
- ui/window/: the standalone manager/dialog windows move here —
  about, layout_manager, page_setup, plugin_manager, shortcuts,
  layers, update_notice, open_progress. The crate::ui::LayerPanel
re-export is repointed so callers are unchanged.

Call sites repointed to the new paths; no compat re-exports beyond the
existing LayerPanel one. ui/ root drops from 21 to 10 flat files with
five subdirs (ribbon, style, popup, statusbar, window).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 9cd0479047 refactor: group ui/ style+popup dirs, rename cmd_result driver
- Group the flat src/ui/ dir: move the 9 style editors into ui/style/

  point_style, style_list, style_manager) and the 6 popups into

Call sites repointed to crate::ui::style::/crate::ui::popup::; no
compat re-exports. ui/ root drops from 36 to 21 files.
- Rename app/cmd_result.rs -> app/command_driver.rs: the file is the
StepInput->feed_command driver, not the CmdResult type (which lives
in command.rs). Name now matches contents.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 415dbe08d4 refactor: move resource/IO root modules under io/
Relocate three root-level modules into io/, where they belong by concern:

mirrors how crate::io wraps blocking calls in async).

Reorder the model-tile control chip to grid, grid snap, render mode,

Kevin GriffinandClaude Opus 4.8 66fc30429c feat(background): persist viewport background across sessions (#188)
The BACKGROUND command set a per-tab colour that was lost on restart and
didn't apply to new drawings, so there was no way to make a non-black
background stick. Persist the chosen model/paper background in UserSettings
(settings.txt) and re-apply it on launch and to every drawing tab created
afterward.

- settings.rs: persist `bg_color` / `paper_bg_color` as 0–255 RGB triplets.
- App gains `default_bg_color` / `default_paper_bg_color`; current_settings /
apply_settings round-trip them, and apply_settings pushes the restored
colour onto existing tabs. New/opened/replaced tabs call `apply_bg_default`.
- BACKGROUND updates the persisted default, saved centrally via
  persist_settings_if_changed; RESET clears it.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 f00c48bebb feat(viewcube): add compass ring, cardinals, and nav controls
Build the ViewCube out into a full navigation widget:

- Compass ring painted in the cube's ground plane (z = base) so it
reads as a ground compass and foreshortens with the view.
- N/E/S/W cardinals painted flat onto the ring band; clicking one snaps
to that side elevation. Added S/W glyphs to the bitmap atlas.
- Home button (top-down view), roll arrows (90° roll about the view
axis), and four nudge triangles (90° tip/spin) as SVG iced controls
laid out around the cube. New home.svg.
- WCS / named-UCS selector under the cube, switching the active UCS.

The cube hit area now shares one stack with the control buttons, so a
click on a button is caught by the button while a click on the cube
falls through. Face clicks snap to the highlighted region rather than a
cursor position the viewport's move handler can overwrite.

Camera gains home_view / roll_by / nudge_90; floating viewports drive
the same ops through mutate_active_viewport_camera, which re-encodes the
result to the stored view direction + twist.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 60d4712179 fix(paste): UTM-precise paste/block base via f64 centroid
entities_centroid summed the f32 points (double-single HIGH half) alone, so
at UTM scale (~5.7e6) it both quantized each term ~0.5 m and lost low bits
across the running total — drifting the paste base and PASTEBLOCK's block
base metres off, which placed the wrapped block at the wrong spot/scale.

It now reconstructs each vertex's absolute f64 from points + points_low and
accumulates in f64. clipboard_centroid is DVec3; the PASTECLIP commit delta
is fully f64; define_block_from_owned_entities takes an f64 base so the
block-local fold (Translate(-base)) stays precise. The interactive ghost
anchors (PasteCommand, InsertBlockCommand) still take the f32 cast — display
only; the committed geometry is f64.

clip_wires now clips in a frame relative to the boundary's first vertex
(small coords → exact f32 Sutherland–Hodgman) and re-splits the result
into the double-single high/low pair the relative-to-eye renderer needs,
so the clipped block draws correctly and no longer poisons ZOOM Extents.
- ZOOM Extents (fit_all): the outlier reject compared absolute UTM
  coordinates against a centre-RELATIVE span (local_extent_max), rejecting
the whole drawing → no-op. Made the reject distance-from-median-centre.
- Cross-drawing paste: clipboard now snapshots each copied entity's whole
xdictionary object graph (ClipboardDeps.ext_objects) and recreates it on
paste with fresh handles + remapped references, re-pointing the pasted
entity's xdictionary at the new root. Wired into PASTECLIP and PASTEORIG.
Fixed handle allocation (allocate_handle, not the non-advancing
next_handle) so the dictionary chain doesn't collapse onto one handle.
- Updated hit_test / plugin_host tests for the eye-relative + DVec3 signatures.

Known gaps: PASTEBLOCK does not yet carry the clip (clip would need to live
inside the new wrapper block definition); hatch-clip path still f32.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 10e4c18ba7 chore: silence native and wasm build warnings
Gate target-specific code so neither build warns about the other's items:
native-only helpers (view, window icon, file dialogs, file association, plugin
host/guard/registry, self-update) are cfg'd to non-wasm; the wasm-only font
fallback (script_of / cjk_lang / request) is cfg'd to wasm. Drop an unused mut,
allow the few genuinely-conditional dead items (mesh_click_hit, GPU layout
helpers, parity stubs), and gate the embedded PlotSettings-unrelated dead
constants. Both targets now build clean (only the unavoidable nom/quick-xml
future-incompat dependency notice remains).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 8c48233dcf merge: TEXTEDIT command + TEXTEDITMODE sysvar (#130)
Merge PR #130 (KarimJerbi) and resolve review findings:

- Conflict (settings.rs): keep current persisted-settings layout, append
  texteditmode field.
- Conflict (command/mod.rs): keep both new CmdResult variants — main's
  live-entity ops and the PR's text-edit suspend/resume.
- Bug: invalid TEXTEDITMODE value no longer aborts via the Measurement
arm; it now re-prompts with the error and stays active.
- Dedup: single parse_texteditmode() helper replaces the value parsing
  duplicated across commands.rs, settings.rs and textedit.rs.
- Strip trailing whitespace.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 de1f1c0e24 fix(3d): move and paste ACIS solids to the right place
Solids were missing from the entity transform dispatch, so move / rotate /
scale / mirror were silently no-ops on a 3D solid (only its wires shifted)
and a pasted solid stayed at its original location. Add a Transformable impl
for Solid3D/Region/Body/Surface (delegating to acadrust, which now composes
the move into the ACIS body placement) and register them in the dispatcher.

Also make cross-drawing paste land at the cursor: the clipboard centroid is
measured in the source drawing's offset-relative frame, so correct the paste
translation by the source/target world_offset difference (zero within one
drawing). Bumps acadrust for the solid-geometry transform fixes.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 e45064f8a8 fix(clipboard): carry block-internal layers and refresh the layer panel
Cross-drawing paste recreated layers/linetypes/styles only for the
top-level selection, so objects inside a pasted block landed on layers the
target drawing didn't have. Scan the entities inside captured block
definitions for their dependencies too. Also refresh the layer panel after
a paste so the brought-in layers show in the manager and the dropdown.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 fd15dd0aac feat(select): invert selection from the right-click menu
Add an Invert Selection entry to the selection context menu (below
Select Similar): it replaces the current selection with every other
selectable object in the active layout. Candidates come from the visible
wire set, so objects on off/frozen layers stay excluded.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 e562738d9e fix(clipboard): carry block definitions across drawings on paste
Copying an INSERT and pasting it into another drawing rendered nothing:
the clipboard snapshotted referenced layers/linetypes/styles but not the
block definition itself, so the pasted reference pointed at a block the
target drawing didn't have.

Capture every block an copied INSERT references — walking nested INSERTs
transitively, skipping model/paper space and xref blocks — and store the
definition's base point plus its owned entities. On paste, recreate any
of those blocks the target drawing lacks via a new define_block_raw
(entities kept in block-local coordinates), before adding the pasted
references. Same-document pastes are unaffected since the blocks already
exist.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 082018756e fix(hover): defer rollover pick until the cursor stops
The rollover hit-test now sweeps wires, hatches, block-internal hatches
and shaded solid bodies, which is O(N) per cursor frame and was freezing
the crosshair on large drawings. Each idle move now clears the live
highlight and arms a dwell timer; HoverDwellTick runs the pick once the
cursor has been still for HOVER_DWELL_MS (120 ms), using the active
tile's bounds so the deferred pick matches the entity actually under
the cursor in tiled viewports.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 e1c5917644 fix(web): paste clipboard text into the TEXT / MText editors
Ctrl+V was globally bound to the entity paste command, so it never pasted
into an open text editor, and even when routed there iced's clipboard read
is a no-op on the web. Route Ctrl+V to the focused editor and, on the web,
read the system clipboard via the browser's async Clipboard API (the
keypress is a user gesture, so the read is permitted):

- MText editor: insert at the caret (web + native).
- TEXT field: append on the web; native lets the text_input paste itself.
- No editor open: falls through to the entity paste command as before.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 54106ca9b0 feat(web): lazy per-script font loading for international CAD text
The web build has no system-font access, so CAD text in non-Latin scripts
(Cyrillic, Greek, CJK, …) rendered as nothing — build_fallback was a hard
None on wasm (#141). Instead, ship per-script Noto subsets under web/fonts
(one alphabet per file, SIL OFL 1.1) and fetch them lazily over HTTP the
first time a drawing uses that script, then outline glyphs with ttf-parser.

- web_font: Script enum + script_of (char → script font), a per-script
store with lazy fetch, and a pending queue drained by the app loop.
- CJK is split by language (chinese/japanese/korean). Han ideographs share
code points but differ by language, so the shared block is routed by the
  document's $DWGCODEPAGE (932→JP, 949→KR, GB/936→CN); kana is always
Japanese, Hangul always Korean. Re-tessellates when the language changes.
- build_fallback (wasm) outlines from the fetched subset; clear_fallback_cache
lets glyphs that missed while a font was in flight reappear on load.
- PollWebFonts subscription (web only) + WebFontLoaded message drive fetches.
- Trunk copy-dir serves web/fonts; nothing is bundled into the native binary
  (desktop keeps using system fonts).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 65369f53cb fix(web): gate boot() to native so the wasm build compiles
The clap CLI work made boot() read crate::cli, but cli is cfg'd out on
wasm (the web build takes no args), so the wasm target failed to compile.
boot() is only used by the native iced::daemon run(); the web build boots
via boot_web(). Gate boot() with cfg(not(wasm32)) to match.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 79bb1d67b1 feat(cli): full command-line interface via clap
Replace the ad-hoc `--serve` arg sniff with a clap-parsed CLI:

- positional <file> to open at startup (also the OS file-association path)
- --new, --read-only, --backend, --safe-mode/--no-gpu
- --serve/--port (headless JSON automation, unchanged behaviour)
- --export IN OUT (headless format convert via the automation load/save infra)
- --script FILE (run command lines at startup)
- --log/RUST_LOG, plus --version/--help for free

GUI-only options pass to app::boot through a OnceLock config; read-only
gates the save paths. The web build skips parsing (no args).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 36d5891572 fix(layers): freeze toggle in ribbon dropdown + sortable manager columns
Ribbon layer dropdown rows were a single button, so a click on the
visible/freeze/lock icon fell through to the make-active handler instead
of toggling that state. Split the row: each icon is its own toggle
button, only the swatch+label selects the active layer. Toggle handlers
now resync the ribbon so the icon updates while the dropdown stays open.

Layer Manager columns are now sortable: clicking a header sorts by that
column, clicking again flips direction (SVG arrow indicator). Sort is
reapplied on every panel sync so it survives edits, preserves the
selection by name, and keeps the ribbon dropdown order in step.

Karim Jerbi 9a258f29ce feat: implement TEXTEDIT command and TEXTEDITMODE system variable
- Adds TEXTEDIT command to seamlessly edit annotation objects in-place.
- Matches industry-standard CAD tools' prompt behavior and "Current settings" banner logic.
- Implements the TEXTEDITMODE system variable (0/1) for Multiple vs Single editing modes.
- Enhances command lifecycle with CmdResult::SuspendForTextEdit and post_editor_closed hooks, allowing commands to cleanly pause and resume after external UI editors close.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 70e73877b2 feat(clipboard): carry referenced records across drawings on paste
Copy/paste between drawings dropped the entities' layer (and linetype /
text + dim style): the clipboard held only the entities, which reference
those records by name, so pasting into a drawing without a matching
record left the entity dangling on a non-existent layer. (#129)

Snapshot the referenced table records from the source drawing at copy
time (ClipboardDeps::capture) and, on paste, recreate any the target
drawing lacks with a fresh handle (merge_clipboard_deps). A record that
already exists by name in the target is left untouched — the target's
own definition wins; only missing ones are imported from the source.
Same-document pastes are unaffected (every record already exists).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 7f10b69e3c feat(automation): headless JSON server (--serve) + Python client
Add an external automation API (issue #29 / #100 track 2): `OpenCADStudio
--serve` runs without a GUI and is driven over a line-based JSON protocol
on stdin/stdout — open / new / run / entities / save. State persists
across requests so a script or AI agent can act, observe, and act again.

`run` drives the app's existing command system rather than a separate
binding, so coverage grows with the app; synchronous commands apply now,
pick-based interactive ones come once coordinate feeding is wired. Ships
a ~100-line example ocs.py client over the same protocol — no FFI to
maintain. Headless works because the app already constructs and dispatches
GUI-less in tests.
