HakanandClaude Opus 4.7 2357b39a1d feat(update): show release notes + version-card layout in update notice

The update notice dialog now mirrors what GitHub publishes: side-by-side
Installed → Latest version cards (the new one accent-tinted to draw the
eye) and a scrollable release-notes panel under them. Light markdown
rendering covers `##` headings, bullet lists, and inline bold/code
markers — enough for the GitHub release body format we ship.

- update_check::check_for_update() returns UpdateInfo { version, body };
  body is parsed from the releases API JSON with a tiny custom
  string-field extractor (\n / \" / \u handling) so we keep the
  serde_json-free dependency footprint.
- Window grows from 480x240 to 560x460 and becomes resizable to make
  room for the notes scroller.
- Layout tightens: header bottom padding drops 14 → 6, notes heading
  10, and the notes block is wrapped in a Fill-height container so it
  claims every leftover pixel — no more dead space between heading and
  footer.

A CAD application for 2D drafting and 3D modeling, built with Rust. Reads and writes DWG and DXF files natively.

Installation

Linux (AppImage)

Download H7CAD-*-linux-x86_64.AppImage from the latest release, then:

chmod +x H7CAD-*-linux-x86_64.AppImage
./H7CAD-*-linux-x86_64.AppImage

No installation required — runs directly on any modern Linux distribution.

Windows

Download H7CAD-*-windows-x86_64.exe from the latest release and run it directly. Windows SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC" because the binary is not yet code-signed — click More info → Run anyway.

macOS (Apple Silicon)

Download H7CAD-*-macos-arm64.dmg from the latest release — Apple Silicon (M-series) only; Intel macOS isn't built.

Open the .dmg and drag H7CAD.app to /Applications. The first launch may be blocked by Gatekeeper because the app is not notarised — right-click H7CAD.app → Open and confirm, or run once via xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/H7CAD.app.
