25defdc0ec docs: solver literature survey; explicit, EOS, lattice Boltzmann and FSI milestones (#17)
Owner decisions 2026-10-13: own solvers beyond linear (explicit dynamics with equations of state,
lattice Boltzmann CFD, fluid-structure interaction; blast fluids after), flow first; published
reference values allowed as a tagged benchmark suite beside the analytic gate; GPU backends
deterministic per device and checked against the bit-exact CPU path; layered crates (fem kernels,
solvers, fsi). ADR 0001 lists the GPL-family solver codes (Palabos, OpenFOAM, ...) and the
readable references.

a817a62440 Meshing test corpus built with SolidCraft; assembly placement in open_design (#11)
* geometry: build designs from SolidCraft command scripts (feature scripts)

* geometry: place component bodies through their occurrences when opening a design

An assembly's instances were missing and moved components sat at their own origin.

* Meshing test corpus: 16 SolidCraft recipes, analytic shapes, loader and runner

modelcraft-testkit holds the corpus (tests/corpus/<name>/recipe.json run through SolidCraft's
engine, then opened as a design) and the runner binary behind cargo xtask corpus.

* docs: corpus results, test corpus architecture and the scripts feature; licences

* corpus: measure each body once, check stage widths, simpler loader and runner

* mesh: predicate benchmark (filter hit rate, CAD-degenerate inputs); record the predicate decision

* mesh: simplify predicates (destructuring over fallbacks, shared-minor exact insphere, cheaper expansion product)

90254bb32f docs: SolidCraft is the primary geometry source; STEP is not excluded (#7)
Corrects ADR 0001, which recorded the owner's decision as excluding CAD exchange files. The
decision is that geometry comes mostly from SolidCraft; STEP can be a secondary input.

4abfa0845b docs: own test corpus built with SolidCraft, icons made with VectorCraft (#2)
Owner decisions 2026-10-13: no public CAD datasets (Thingi10K included); test parts are
SolidCraft recipes and analytic shapes. Icons are VectorCraft artwork with the editable
source committed; cargo xtask assets now also requires .vectorcraft and .solidcraft files
to be attributed. AGENTS.md: GitHub CI runs the full gate, commit after each working step.

e7f5c83b49 docs: meshing literature survey and the tet/hex pipeline it chooses (#1)
Survey of about 75 papers on robust predicates, Delaunay tetrahedralization, boundary
recovery, quality improvement and hexahedral meshing, with verified DOIs and the
licence of every associated code base. Architecture and roadmap now name the chosen
methods (robust CDT after Diazzi et al. 2023; octree-dual all-hex first). ADR 0001
adds the licence findings and the test-geometry rule.

jyvikoandClaude Opus 5.5 b64ec3f698 ModelCraft foundation: workspace, quality gates, FE model, command engine, geometry boundary
A pure-Rust CAE modeling workspace following the SolidCraft conventions:
- modelcraft-model: nodes and elements by label with hostile-input validation
- modelcraft-geometry: SolidCraft's kernel (pinned git dependency) behind our own API;
tessellation into a face-tagged boundary surface for volume meshing
- modelcraft-engine: CommandSpec registry, Session::execute with rollback and panic guard,
  scripts and a journal
- modelcraft-cli: list commands, run scripts
- xtask: layers (only geometry may use solidcraft-*), assets, licences, tests, wasm, ci
- AGENTS.md, architecture, ADR 0001 (libraries and licences), roadmap, CI
