Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 cd1d3bb619 refactor(snap): producers emit f64 snap points (world_offset removal P3)
TruckEntity.snap_pts is now DVec3 and every entity producer builds snap
candidates straight from the acadrust f64 coordinates instead of casting
to f32 first (text, mtext, arc, circle, ellipse, point, shape, solid,
mline, mtext, attribute, tolerance, table, underlay, ole2frame, mesh,
multileader, dimension, block-cache). offset_snap_pts stays f64
throughout. Still offset-relative (inert) — but snap precision is no
longer capped at ~0.5 m by an early f32 cast, which fixes a latent
UTM-scale snap error and sets up the absolute-coordinate switch.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 a7a1fac09a refactor(snap): widen snap_pts to f64 (world_offset removal P2)
WireModel/LocalWire/TruckEntity snap buffers and the producers/consumers
now carry snap candidates as DVec3 (offset_snap_pts, dimension/multileader
producers, block-cache transform, pick/xclip, snap module). Still
offset-relative, so behaviour is unchanged — this just lets the snap
transport survive the upcoming switch to absolute coordinates without an
extra f32 quantization. The snap module still resolves in f32 (as_vec3 at
entry), matching today's precision.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 c0f3d0de5e feat(render): double-single fills for the face3d pipeline
Table / PolyfaceMesh / greek-text / mleader-background fills go through
the face3d pipeline; their vertices were single f32 and quantized at UTM
scale. WireModel now carries a fill_tris_low residual (filled by the
tessellate Lines path), Face3DVertex gains position_low (location 3), and
face3d.wgsl reconstructs the eye-relative position from the pair. 3DFACE
quads built from key_vertices use a zero residual (no low source).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 97d6993768 refactor(wire): add WireModel.points_low parallel buffer (empty default)
Foundation for double-single positions: WireModel now carries an
index-paired f32 residual buffer (`points_low`) next to the existing
`points` high half. Empty means "all-zero residual", so every existing
constructor (interactive draw, previews) is unchanged in behaviour;
tessellation from CAD f64 will fill it in the next steps so vertex
precision survives at UTM-scale coordinates.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 5291a3fb82 fix(text): keep text anchors in f64 and honour space advance
Single-line TEXT and ATTRIB/ATTDEF cast the insertion/alignment point to
f32 before computing the stroke origin. At large coordinates (UTM ~4.5M)
the f32 ulp is ~0.5, snapping text baselines onto a coarse grid so
adjacent rows collapse onto each other and overlap. Keep the anchor in
f64 throughout.

Horizontal alignment now uses the pen advance box [0, advance] instead of
the inked min_x/max_x, so leading/trailing spaces keep their width and
space-aligned columns no longer shift. text_local_bounds returns
TextLocalBounds { ink_min, ink_max, advance }.

TABLE laid out its whole grid in an f32 world frame; switch to a local
f32 frame plus an f64 base added at the widening step, fixing cell-text
baseline snap and the i32 overflow in the border-dedup keys.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 33314a5889 feat(ucs): orient text-bearing annotations to the active UCS
New annotations now place their text and reading geometry along the
active UCS X axis (identity = world), so they read square to the user's
coordinate system instead of world-horizontal:

- TEXT / MTEXT: rotation defaults to the UCS X angle
  (DocumentTab::ucs_rotation_angle, model space only).
- Linear dimensions: measure along the UCS axis the span is nearest, and
  bake the UCS X angle as the text rotation so the value reads square
  even under a style that forces horizontal text. DIMCONTINUE / DIMBASELINE
  derive their axis from the base dim's rotation (any angle), not a
  world H/V test.
- LEADER: the MText annotation rotates to the UCS, and the hookline runs
  along the leader's horizontal_direction (set to UCS X), used by the
  renderer instead of world horizontal.
- MLEADER: context.text_direction = UCS X drives both the text rotation
  and, in the renderer, the text side and dogleg/landing direction.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 de1f1c0e24 fix(3d): move and paste ACIS solids to the right place
Solids were missing from the entity transform dispatch, so move / rotate /
scale / mirror were silently no-ops on a 3D solid (only its wires shifted)
and a pasted solid stayed at its original location. Add a Transformable impl
for Solid3D/Region/Body/Surface (delegating to acadrust, which now composes
the move into the ACIS body placement) and register them in the dispatcher.

Also make cross-drawing paste land at the cursor: the clipboard centroid is
measured in the source drawing's offset-relative frame, so correct the paste
translation by the source/target world_offset difference (zero within one
drawing). Bumps acadrust for the solid-geometry transform fixes.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 31ed911714 fix(3d): place and move ACIS solids and tilted-normal blocks correctly
Bump acadrust to pick up real ACIS body transforms (so moving/copying/
rotating a 3D solid relocates its geometry) and OCS-aware INSERT placement.

- body_transform: read the SAT transform record from its first 13 float
  tokens instead of by raw index, which skipped the matrix because the
  record leads with a book-keeping pointer — so the body placement was
  silently ignored and solids never honored their stored transform.
- Insert grips: the grip lives in world space but insert_point is stored in
  the block's OCS, so grip display and grip-drag now round-trip through the
  OCS. A block whose extrusion normal isn't +Z no longer shows its grip in
  the wrong place or drags along the wrong axes.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 490c0f6cf9 feat(properties): show polyline length and area
Line, Circle and Arc reported their lengths/quantities in the Geometry
section, but polylines (and rectangles, which are closed polylines) only
listed vertex count, closed flag and elevation. Add read-only Length and
Area rows: length is the true path length with arc segments measured by
their arc length, area treats the polyline as closed with a circular
segment correction per bulge.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 2a260be31d fix(dim): restore DIMTAD=Outside placement, route all DIMTAD values
The previous DIMTAD fix made every non-below value use the text-up side,
which broke DIMTAD=2 (Outside) — that should sit on the side farthest from
the measured points. Pass the DIMTAD value through instead of a below flag:
above (1) / JIS (3) / centred (0) use the text-up side, below (4) the
opposite, and outside (2) the away-from-object side. Tests cover above-up
and outside-away. (#144)

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 ac5d92c0b4 fix(dim): place DIMTAD "above" text by text-up side, not object side
Dimension text vertical placement chose the perpendicular side away from the
measured points, so "Above" (DIMTAD 1) flipped to below whenever the
dimension line sat on the opposite side of the geometry. Place it on the side
the text top points to instead — the perpendicular of the dimension line
normalised to read left-to-right — independent of the object. (#144)

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 23844c137b fix(dim): keep dim line continuous when text sits above/below it
The dim-line break test used text_half + DIMGAP as its vertical
threshold, but DIMTAD 1/4 places the text exactly text_half + DIMGAP off
the line. The two terms cancel at the same DIMSCALE-scaled value, leaving
the comparison on the knife's edge — so a gap flickered into the line
depending on the DIMGAP/DIMSCALE combination. Drop DIMGAP from the
vertical threshold so above/below text stays strictly clear and the line
stays whole; centred text (DIMTAD 0) still breaks for the DIMTFILL
background. The horizontal half-width keeps DIMGAP so a real break clears
the text. (#94)

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 96ec672d5b feat(points): point style commands + DDPTYPE dialog, viewport-aware size
Points could only render as a 1px dot — no way to change PDMODE/PDSIZE.

- PDMODE / PDSIZE commands set the header value and rebuild the glyphs.
- DDPTYPE opens a Point Style dialog: a 5x4 grid of rendered glyphs
  (shape x enclosure), a size field, and relative/absolute radios.
- Relative (<=0) PDSIZE now sizes from the current world-per-pixel so the
  marker stays a roughly constant on-screen size across zoom, rebuilding
  on zoom via the existing camera-generation cache key. Absolute (>0)
  scales with the world as before. Switching to absolute with a zero size
  seeds a positive value from the on-screen size so it stays representable.

Part of the #100 extensibility epic (point style surfaced in #106).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 a384a163f3 fix(dim): scale DIMGAP by DIMSCALE for text placement
The text-to-line gap used a raw DIMGAP while text height already scaled

Thread dim_scale into dimension_text_pos_f64 and text_fill_rect and scale
DIMGAP the same way as DIMTXT.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 3666c7fa69 refactor(modules): rename home module to draw, restore first-tab order
The Home tab was already titled "Draw"; rename the module to match:
folder modules/home → modules/draw, HomeModule → DrawModule, id "home"
→ "draw". The inner draw/ command folder is kept (modules::draw::draw).

Update build.rs PRIORITY ("home" → "draw") so the tab returns to the
front of the ribbon; registry.rs regenerates accordingly.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 7fe7e0230d refactor(scene): group modules into role-based subfolders
Move the 30 flat modules under src/scene/ into six folders by role:
convert (entity→geometry), text (fonts/shaping), model (render models),
pick (hit-test/selection/grips/xclip), view (camera/transform/render),
cache (block + property caches). pipeline/ is unchanged.

Full path migration — all `scene::X` references become
`scene::<group>::X`, no compatibility re-exports. render.rs items that
were `pub(super)` (parent was scene) become `pub(in crate::scene)` to
keep their original scene-wide visibility.

No behavior change; build and tests are green.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 cd048165a9 feat(fonts): system TrueType support with shaping and fallback
Add a TrueType/OpenType render path alongside the LFF stroke engine so
users can pick fonts installed on their machine for text and MText.

- Discover system families via fontdb (sysfont) and list them in the
  text-style picker.
- Extract glyph outlines with ttf-parser, flattened into wire strokes
  normalized to the same 9-unit cap-height space as LFF glyphs.
- Shape runs with cosmic-text (ligatures, Arabic joining, kerning, bidi)
  plus automatic font fallback: a glyph missing from the chosen family
  is taken from another installed font.
- Unify both sources behind a single Face type; a shared run tokenizer
  drives the stroke (per-glyph) and shaped (TTF) renderers identically.
- Stroke fonts now fall back to a system TTF (cosmic-text picks it) for
  characters no LFF font covers, replacing the unicode/iso3098 chain.

Also trim the embedded LFF set from 47 to 26, keeping the AutoCAD-SHX
equivalents and dropping LibreCAD-only fonts now covered by TrueType.

LFF builtins keep priority over same-named system fonts so DXF text
renders identically across machines.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 9d823363f1 feat(scene): render 3D surface entities (loft/sweep/extrude/etc.)
ACAD_SURFACE entities now load and render. Their NURBS faces are
tessellated by building a truck BSplineSurface from the ACIS `spline-surface`
control net and knot vectors, then sampling its parametric grid — reusing the
same NURBS kernel the Model tab already builds on. Analytic faces
(plane/cone/sphere/torus) continue through the existing tessellator.

- New spline_tess.rs: parse the ACIS `nubs` block (degrees, knots with the
  clamped end-multiplicity fix, control grid) into a truck BSplineSurface and
  mesh it.
- tessellate_surface + Surface wired through the mesh-build, fallback-wire,
  and entity-classification paths.
- Bump acadrust to the commit that adds the Surface entity.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 e263cb2458 fix(dimension): break the dim line behind on-line text so DIMTFILL reads (#94)
2-D fills (the DIMTFILL background) render in a pass before all wires, so
the background could never sit above the dimension line — the line showed
through it. When the text sits on the line, gap the dimension line across
the text box (AutoCAD-style break) so the background reads cleanly over
the line. Text placed above/below the line is unaffected.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 6aa47c6ead fix(dimension): DIMZIN feet/inch suppression and DIMJUST 3/4 rotation (#94)
- DIMZIN now drives architectural feet/inch zero-suppression (modes 0-3)
  inside format_architectural, threaded through format_with_unit (primary
  and alternate units).
- DIMJUST 3 and 4 (over first / second extension) now rotate the text 90°
  to read along the extension line, not just shift its position.
- DIMTAD 2 (outside) and 3 (JIS) resolve to the away-from-object side,
  which equals "above" for 2-D linear dims; clarified in a comment.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 edacc895f7 fix(dimension): honour DIMTAD below and DIMTFILL background fill (#94)
Two style settings were accepted by the editor but ignored by the
renderer:
- DIMTAD=4 (Below) placed text above the dimension line like DIMTAD=1;
  the text is now offset to the opposite side.
- DIMTFILL=1 (drawing background) drew no fill; it now masks the geometry
  behind the text with the background colour (DIMTFILL=2 already used
  DIMTFILLCLR).

Verified the other enum settings render: DIMLUNIT/DIMFRAC unit formats,
DIMAUNIT/DIMADEC/DIMAZIN angular formats, DIMJUST positions,
DIMATFIT/DIMTMOVE fit, DIMTOLJ tolerance alignment, and the alternate-unit
/ zero-suppression families.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 b211ca07a9 feat(dimension): flip arrowheads outside when they don't fit (#94)
When the dimension line is too short for the arrowheads, they are now
placed outside the extension lines (tip on the line, body outward) with a
short stub to sit on, instead of overlapping inside. DIMSOXD suppresses
those outer stubs. Ticks are unaffected (they always fit).

DIMATFIT's exact mode ordering and DIMUPT remain for a later pass.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 40a91372fd feat(dimension): honour DIMTIX/DIMATFIT text fit; clarify remaining flags (#94)
Centred dimension text that doesn't fit between the extension lines now
slides outside (text-outside placement), unless DIMTIX forces it to stay
inside. DIMTOFL is already satisfied for linear/aligned dims (their dim
line is always drawn between the extension points).

The remaining style flags are documented in place:
- DIMATFIT arrow-outside modes and DIMUPT need an arrow autofit pass.
- DIMTXTDIRECTION (RTL) needs single-line text direction support.
- DIMARCSYM / DIMJOGANG apply only to arc-length / jogged-radius dims,
  which aren't shipped as entity variants.
- DIMUNIT is obsolete (superseded by DIMLUNIT).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 006dbe4631 fix(dimension): make DIMTAD/DIMTVP/DIMJUST drive text placement (#94)
Dimension text position ignored the style: the renderer returned the
saved text_middle_point whenever it was non-zero, which it always is for
app-created dims, so DIMTAD ("text over the dimension line" / ISO) and
friends had no effect — text could only be moved by grips.

Use the new acadrust text_user_positioned flag: when the text wasn't
user-placed, compute the position from the style (DIMTAD/DIMTVP/DIMJUST)
anchored on the dimension line (definition_point); when it was (grip drag
or properties edit, both now set the flag), keep the saved point.
Imported drawings keep their fidelity via the flag round-tripping through
DXF/DWG.

Also fixes linear/aligned text anchoring at the measured midpoint instead
of the actual dimension line.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 d09614be39 fix(ellipse,mirror): WCS ellipse rendering + delegate hatch MIRROR upstream
Two follow-ups from the boundary-arc convention audit:

- ELLIPSE is a WCS entity in DXF (codes 10/11 are world coordinates,
  unlike ARC/CIRCLE). The renderer ran center and major_axis through the
  arbitrary-axis OCS, which misplaced any ellipse whose normal isn't Z-up
  — e.g. the (0,0,-1) result of a mirrored-block explode. Read them as
  WCS; pairs with acadrust 569bd4d, which stores WCS on its explode
  paths. Z-up ellipses are unaffected (the conversion was an identity).

- The MIRROR command's hand-rolled hatch closure swapped boundary-arc
  angles itself — only valid for ccw arcs and ignorant of the stored
  mirrored-angle / wrap-encoded-sweep conventions. It now builds a
  reflection Transform (new reflection_about_xy_line helper) and
  delegates to acadrust's transform_hatch, the single source of truth
  for those conventions. Covered by a Line→Arc→Line continuity + sweep
  regression test.

Note: full effect of the ellipse change lands once the acadrust pin is
bumped to 569bd4d; until then only the (previously broken) non-Z-up
corner differs.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 80059922c5 fix(mirror): negate polyline bulges in the MIRROR command
The MIRROR command's LwPolyline / Polyline2D closures reflected the
vertices but left the bulges untouched, so every curved segment of a
mirrored polyline bowed to the wrong side. A reflection reverses the
side a bulge arc bows to — negate it alongside the vertex reflection
(same convention acadrust applies on its reflecting-transform paths).

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 25715d1b03 fix(grips): compute grip positions in f64 so they sit on the wire
Grip markers drew visibly offset from the entity on large-coordinate
(UTM-scale) drawings: every Grippable impl cast the f64 entity coordinates
to f32 BEFORE the world-offset subtraction, and at 1e7 magnitude an f32
holds ~0.9 drawing units of rounding error. The wires subtract the offset
in f64 first (precision-preserving), so the grips landed up to ~1 unit
away from the geometry they belong to.

GripDef.world is now DVec3: producers fill it straight from the f64
entity data, refresh_selected_grips subtracts the world offset in f64,
and only the small offset-local result is cast to f32 for screen-space
projection (grips_to_screen / find_hit_grip) and drag state.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 70702d063f perf(hash): swap std HashMap/HashSet for rustc-hash FxHash
Phase 4.1. Handle / u64 keys dominate the hot maps (block_defn,
hatch / image / mesh caches, draw-depth map, viewport wire caches);
the default SipHash is wasted work on integer keys. Alias the std
types to rustc_hash::FxHashMap / FxHashSet crate-wide so every map and
set — including the cross-module draw-depth map shared between scene
and the GPU pipelines — uses the faster hasher consistently.

Mechanical: no behavioural change. Constructors moved from ::new() to
::default() (Fx variants carry no RandomState). Build + 13 tests green.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 edc8cbc969 feat(scale): drive scales from the drawing's scale list
Read the model-space annotation scale from the standard CANNOSCALE /
CANNOSCALEVALUE header variables instead of a user-variable hack, and
populate both the status-bar scale picker and the viewport Scale
property purely from the drawing's ACAD_SCALELIST — no built-in
fallback set. Xref-derived scales (`_XREF` suffix, `name|` prefix)
are filtered out so only the host drawing's own scales appear.

Bumps the patched acadrust to the commit that adds CANNOSCALE/

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 1b20d7d781 feat(table): coloured synthesis render honouring all TableStyle fields
Tables without a baked block (e.g. created in-app) were drawn as a single
monochrome wire, ignoring cell colours/fills/border styling. Add a
coloured synthesis path that emits per-colour WireModels for:
- cell background fill (fill_color + fill_enabled),
- per-cell text in its content/text colour,
- grid borders with per-edge type/weight/colour/visibility (cell-style
  override → row-style → default),
- horizontal/vertical margins and flow direction (down/up).

Imported tables keep using AutoCAD's baked block. Resolution layers the
per-cell CellStyle over the TableStyle row style over defaults.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 8b3d083789 feat(leader): dynamic MLEADER text placement, grips, and consistent arrows
Reworks MLEADER text/leader geometry and grip editing, and aligns LEADER
to MLEADER's conventions (kept as separate entities).

Text & landing (render path):
- Text is side-anchored on the leader-facing edge and reads outward; the
  side, alignment and the horizontal landing are recomputed every frame
  from the text grip's position relative to the leader, so moving the
  arrow or the text re-mirrors the whole layout and the landing stays
  attached to the text's near edge.
- Fixes #49: text was centred on the leader endpoint regardless of side.

Grips:
- Text-location grip plus an MTEXT-style triangle wrap-width grip at the
  box's far edge; dragging it sets the MText wrap width.
- Multifunction grip menu restored and made functional: leader-line
  vertices offer Add Leader / Remove Leader (Add grabs the new arrow so it
  follows the cursor — click places, Esc removes it); the text grip offers
  Move Independent (text only) and Move with Leader (translates the whole
  multileader via a move-all sentinel grip).

Arrows:
- LEADER and MLEADER arrowheads now render at the same size (text height),
  matching previews.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 c1b33677e2 feat(fonts): switch the text engine from CXF to LibreCAD LFF fonts
Replace the small QCAD CXF stroke-font set with the full LibreCAD LFF font
library (46 fonts) and a new LFF parser/engine in src/scene/lff.rs. The
parser reads the `[hex] char` glyph blocks, tessellates `,A<bulge>` arcs, and
resolves `C<hex>` glyph references. Per LibreCAD's RS_Polyline convention a
vertex's bulge curves the segment ending at that vertex — getting this wrong
turned round letters like O into sideways capsules.

Font name resolution mirrors LibreCAD: match by file stem, map common
AutoCAD/DXF SHX names (txt, isocp, complex, italic, gothic*, gost, …) to the
nearest LFF family, and fall back to `standard`. A missing glyph in the chosen
family falls back to the broad `unicode` font so accented/Cyrillic/Greek text
still renders. Cap height stays 9 units, so the text scale is unchanged.

All text consumers move from cxf:: to lff::; complex linetypes still render
embedded text but no longer draw embedded shapes (LibreCAD ships no shape

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.8 32136dd9dd feat(mtext): character-level text selection on the preview
The rendered MText preview is now interactive: drag across glyphs to select
a character range and apply toolbar formatting (bold, italic, underline,
overline, strike, case, alignment) to exactly those characters.

The text layout gains an opt-in pass that emits one world-space box per
visible character carrying its reading-order index; the editor maps those
boxes into the preview frame, hit-tests pointer drags against them, and
highlights the selection. Formatting splices the matching inline codes into
the raw value at the selected byte range (mapped via a code-aware visible-
character scanner). With no preview selection the Edit-box path is unchanged.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 9db206f310 feat(select): Select Similar + Quick Select panel (#28)
Two ways to extend the current selection by entity type + layer:

* `Select Similar` (right-click → Select Similar, or `SELECTSIMILAR` /
  `SELSIM`): for every (type, layer) pair in the current selection, add
  every entity in the active layout that matches the pair. The seed
  selection stays selected; matches already selected are not
  double-counted.
* `Quick Select` (right-click → Quick Select…, or `QSELECT` / `QS`):
  opens a centred floating panel with Object-type and Layer pick_lists
  (populated only with values that actually exist in the active layout)
  and an "Append to current selection" checkbox. `(Any)` in either slot
  skips that filter. Apply replaces the selection (or extends it with
  Append on) and reports the match count on the command line. Cancel,
  Esc, and outside-click all dismiss without applying. When opened with
  a selection present, the panel pre-fills both filters from the first
  selected entity so QSelect doubles as an editable Select Similar.

Scoped to entities owned by the active layout's block-record so a paper
layout's QSELECT never reaches into model-space entities (and vice
versa). Entity-type names live in a single `entity_type_name` helper in
`entities::traits` to keep the UI strings and the filter keys aligned.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 4b4fe5ca6d feat(grip): popup menus for polylines, spline, mline, hatch, leaders, text
Vocabulary added: AddFitPoint, RemoveFitPoint, Refit, RefineVertices,
TangentDirection, MoveWithText, StackText, UnstackText.

Polyline/Polyline2D/Polyline3D: vertex Add/Remove. MLine: same.
Spline: CV Add/Remove plus Refine Vertices (chord-midpoint insertion,
weights kept in sync, knots cleared so to_truck rebuilds uniform vec).
Hatch: centroid Origin/Angle/Scale (Angle and Scale prompt for value).
Leader: vertex Add/Remove (arrow + centroid stay Stretch-only).
MultiLeader: vertex Add/Remove Leader; MText location Move-with-Leader /
Move-Independent (menu live, structural edits stubbed). Text/MText:
Rotate prompts for degrees and sets rotation.

Spline, Leader, MultiLeader switched from impl_entity_basics! to manual
trait impls so grip_menu can be overridden.

Hakan Seven 559cd76369 feat(grip): value-prompt actions Lengthen/Radius/Arc Length
Lengthen / Radius / Arc Length need a number after the pick. Stash
`grip_pending` on the picked action, push prompt to command line,
route next `CommandSubmit` parse into `apply_grip_menu_value`.
Escape cancels.

- `Grippable::grip_menu_value_prompt` returns label when action
  wants value; `apply_grip_menu_value` runs the edit. Dispatched
  via `EntityTypeOps`.
- Line: Lengthen extends either endpoint along line direction.
- Arc: Radius sets radius; Arc Length redrives end angle from
  `value / radius`; Lengthen extends start / end angle the same
  way.

Hakan Seven a4c65649e1 feat(grip): entity-specific popup menus for Line/Arc/Dimension
- Line: endpoint grips expose Stretch + Lengthen; midpoint exposes
  Stretch only.
- Arc: endpoint exposes Stretch + Lengthen; midpoint exposes
  Stretch + Radius + Arc Length; centre exposes Stretch.
- Dimension text grip exposes the full text-position vocabulary
  (Move with Dim Line / with Leader / Independent, Reset Text,
  Rotate Text, Above Dim Line, Center). Dim-line-position grip
  exposes Stretch + Reverse Arrows. Extension origins keep the
  default Stretch.
- Each affected entity drops `impl_entity_basics!` and writes the
  three trait impls (Grippable, PropertyEditable, Transformable)
  manually so `grip_menu` / `apply_grip_menu` can override.
- `apply_grip_menu` handles Reset Text (clear text override) and
  Center (snap text to midpoint of extension origins) inline;
  remaining actions stub to no-op pending the follow-up
  prompt / drag plumbing.

Hakan Seven 6c1462932d feat(grip): multi-functional hover popup menu
Phase 2 of the grip overhaul: when the cursor dwells on a selected
entity's grip the overlay opens a popup menu with entity-specific
options (Stretch / Add Vertex / Remove Vertex / Convert to
Arc-Line / …). Picking an item dispatches `apply_grip_menu`; the
default `Stretch` entry is a no-op that lets the user click the
grip to start the normal drag.

- `GripMenuItem` + `GripMenuAction` (full vocabulary covering
  stretch, add/remove vertex, convert to arc/line, reverse arrows,
  text-position variants, hatch parameters, tangent direction).
- `Grippable` trait gains `grip_menu` + `apply_grip_menu` with
  trait-default `Stretch`-only impls so every existing entity gets
  the popup for free.
- `EntityTypeOps` dispatches both methods across the same entity
  list as the existing grip / property machinery.
- `OpenCADStudio` carries `grip_hover` (dwell tracker) +
  `grip_popup` (open menu). `update_grip_hover` runs from
  `ViewportMove`: hit-tests grips, refreshes the dwell timer, and
  opens the popup after 600 ms. Cursor drift past 80 px or a grip
  click dismisses it.
- `view.rs` paints the popup as an absolute-positioned column of
  buttons at the grip's screen anchor; each button publishes
  `Message::GripMenuPick(idx)`.
- `LwPolyline` overrides `Grippable` manually (skips the standard
  macro) so its vertex grip exposes Add/Remove Vertex and its
  segment-midpoint grip exposes Add Vertex + Convert to Arc/Line.
  `apply_grip_menu` performs the edits: vertex insertion at the
  chord midpoint inheriting the previous bulge, vertex removal,
  and bulge toggle for the arc/line conversion.

Hakan Seven 5755c2e130 refactor(grip): square-only marker set + oriented stretch handles
Phase 1 of bringing the grip vocabulary in line with the standard
CAD convention: drop the per-position-type shape encoding (Diamond
for translate, Circle for parameter) and use a plain square for
every endpoint / vertex / centre grip. The behavioural midpoint vs
vertex distinction stays — it lives on `GripDef::is_midpoint` and
drives `Translate` vs `Absolute` in the grip-edit dispatcher — only
the marker shape collapses.

- `GripShape` keeps `Square`, `Rectangle`, `Triangle`. Diamond /
  Circle are gone.
- `GripDef` gains `dir: Option<[f32; 2]>` — a world-XY direction
  vector consumed by `Rectangle` to orient the box along its
  segment.
- `entities::common` exposes `square_grip`, `center_grip` (same
  square marker, flagged as translate), `rectangle_grip(id, world,
  dir)` for oriented mid-segment handles, and a kept-for-Phase-2
  `triangle_grip`.
- `overlay::GripMarker` / `grips_to_screen[_paper]` thread `dir`
  through to the canvas painter; the Rectangle path rotates the
  box around the grip centre using the world-XY direction (flipping
  the sin for screen-Y).

Every existing `diamond_grip(id, w)` call becomes `center_grip(id,
w)` — the visual change is square-replacing-diamond at line
midpoints / arc midpoints / circle centres / ellipse centres /
viewport / hatch loop centroids / dimension grips / image corners /
multileader / ray / underlay / ole2frame / solid3d.

`LwPolyline` grows a stretch handle on every segment (straight or
arc), drawn as the new oriented rectangle. The grip-edit path
translates both segment endpoints for straight segments and
adjusts the arc bulge from the new midpoint for arc segments.

Hakan Seven 1e33a9049c feat(grip): complete standard grip-shape vocabulary
Existing entity grip definitions already followed the conventional
CAD layout: square at vertices / endpoints, diamond at curve
centres / midpoints, triangle for directional control. Round out
the supported shape vocabulary with the two missing standards so
future entities (polyline straight-segment stretch grips, dimension
parameter grips, …) can pick the right marker without inventing
ad-hoc visuals:

- `GripShape::Rectangle` — direction-aware mid-segment stretch
  handle (wider-than-tall box).
- `GripShape::Circle` — parametric control (radius / dimension
  value).

New `rectangle_grip` / `circle_grip` helpers in `entities::common`
mirror the existing `square_grip` / `diamond_grip` / `triangle_grip`
constructors. `SelectionCanvas::draw` renders the two new variants;
the previously-used Square / Diamond / Triangle paths are
unchanged. Both new variants carry `#[allow(dead_code)]` until an
entity adopts them.

Hakan Seven 0ec6d77cb1 fix(snap): correct snap symbols + drop bogus midpoints on circles (#34)
Two bugs from #34:

1. Hovering a circle showed the Center snap as a diamond instead of
   the conventional circle outline.
2. Hovering a circle also showed Midpoint hits (triangle marker)
   even though a closed curve has no midpoint.

(2) came from a "tessellated curve" fallback in the Midpoint snap
path that produced a midpoint for every chord of the polyline
approximation. Drop that fallback — only entities with explicit
`key_vertices` (Line, LwPolyline) contribute per-segment midpoints
now. Curves that DO have a single well-defined midpoint (arcs, and
later splines) declare it explicitly via a new
`SnapHint::Midpoint`; `arc.rs` emits one at the arc-length centre.

(1) — and the broader "everything past Endpoint / Midpoint / Grid
was a diamond" inconsistency — fixed by giving every `SnapType` a
distinct marker in `SelectionCanvas::draw`:

- Center: hollow circle
- Node: circle with inscribed X
- Quadrant: diamond (unchanged)
- Intersection: X
- Apparent Intersection: X inside a square
- Insertion: two overlapping rectangles (tag glyph)
- Perpendicular: right-angle hook
- Tangent: circle with a bar across the top
- Nearest: hourglass / bowtie
- Extension: three dots
- Parallel: two parallel diagonal bars
- Endpoint / Midpoint / Grid: unchanged

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 a3e9b05130 fix(hatch): stop drawing ghost line between boundary polylines
The polyline arm of the hatch wire outline guarded its NaN separator
with `if count > 0 && pts.len() != start_idx`. `start_idx` was assigned
to `pts.len()` two lines earlier with nothing in between to grow `pts`,
so the inequality was structurally always false — the separator was
never emitted.

When a hatch carried more than one boundary path (multi-region hatch),
the renderer drew a straight segment from the last vertex of path A to
the first vertex of path B because the two polylines lived in `pts`
back-to-back with no NaN break. The result was a visible stray line
between hatch regions.

Switch the polyline arm to the same `if !pts.is_empty()` guard the
Line / CircularArc / EllipticArc arms use, and capture `start_idx`
*after* the separator so the closed-loop close-back logic still points
at this polyline's first real vertex.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 2e8d7ba878 refactor(hatch): collapse repeated reflect_xy_point calls
The Hatch boundary-mirror transform called
`crate::scene::transform::reflect_xy_point(&mut x.x, &mut x.y, p1, p2)`
nine times with rustfmt expanding each long-path call into a six-line
block. Total: ~55 lines for nine reflects.

Add a local `use crate::scene::transform::reflect_xy_point as reflect;`
at the top of the closure so each reflect collapses to a single line.

-19 lines, no behavior change.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 e66905e9b1 refactor(entities): Solid3D/Region/Body accessor trio in entities/solid3d.rs
The same three-arm `match entity { Solid3D | Region | Body }` block
appeared at five callsites — twice in tessellate.rs (point_of_reference,
fallback wires) and three times in scene/mod.rs (mesh tess dispatch,
apply_grip pre/post position).

Add three accessors in entities/solid3d.rs:

  point_of_reference(e) → Option<&Vector3>
  fallback_wires(e)     → Option<&[Wire]>
  tessellate_volume(e, color, facet_res) → Option<MeshLodSet>

Callsites shrink from 5–8 lines to one call. The apply_grip path
collapses two parallel pre/post matches plus the entity-list `matches!`
guard.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 5da32ff202 refactor(entities): collocate ui_name + dxf_name into entities/names.rs
Two near-identical match-on-EntityType tables lived far apart:
scene/properties.rs::entity_type_name returned mixed-case UI labels;
app/commands.rs::entity_type_name returned uppercase DXF record names.
Both enumerated ~30 variants; adding a new entity meant remembering to
touch two files in two crates' worth of source layout.

Move both into a single entities/names.rs as `ui_name()` and
`dxf_name()`. Adjacent so a new variant gets both labels added at once;
function names make the intended audience explicit at the callsite.

scene/properties.rs and app/commands.rs each lose their local match
plus one re-export, gaining a `crate::entities::names::*` call.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 9b5073752d refactor(entities): collapse trait wrapper boilerplate via macro
Every entity file ended with the same three-trait wrapper block:

    impl Grippable for T {
        fn grips(&self) -> Vec<GripDef> { grips(self) }
        fn apply_grip(&mut self, ...) { apply_grip(self, ...) }
    }
    impl PropertyEditable for T { ... }
    impl Transformable for T { ... }

— 23 lines of pure delegation around five same-named free functions.

Replace with `crate::impl_entity_basics!(T);` (a macro in
entities/traits.rs that expands to the three trait impls).

Applied where the file already follows the free-fn delegation
convention (Arc, Circle, Ellipse, Insert, Leader, Line, LwPolyline,
MultiLeader, Ole2Frame, Point, Spline, Viewport). Files that inlined
the trait method bodies directly (Ray, XLine, Shape, Solid, Tolerance,
MLine, Mesh, Solid3D/Region/Body, Table, RasterImage, Wipeout,
Underlay, Hatch, Polyline, Polyline2D, Polyline3D, Dimension) left
alone — they already skip the indirection. Text/MText/Attribute use
the with-text-style flavour and will move once that variant is needed
beyond the existing two manual impls.

A second macro `impl_entity_basics_with_text_styles!` is included for
the text-like flavour but no entity uses it yet.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 5e36e85e07 refactor(common): unify bulge → arc math into BulgeArc
The same DXF/DWG bulge → (center, radius, sweep) formula was inlined
in six places (hatch outline, polyline tess + truck path, lwpolyline
×4, scene hatch fill, explode bulge_to_arc) — each with subtly
different sweep-direction handling for the bulge sign.

Add `entities::common::BulgeArc { center, radius, start_angle,
end_angle, sweep }` with one `from_bulge(p0, p1, bulge)` constructor
and a `sample(t)` helper. Callsites collapse to a few lines.

Net: -121 lines, one canonical sweep-direction convention shared by
all consumers.

array.rs (the path-along-curve f32 helper) keeps its inline math —
its sign convention is inverted relative to the others and changing
it without exercising the array-path command risks regressing the
output.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 e78321190a refactor(commands): per-entity MassProps + TextContent traits
Two free helpers in app/commands.rs lived as big match-on-EntityType
blocks: massprop_entity (Circle/Arc/Line/LwPolyline/Ellipse area +
perimeter + centroid, ~140 lines) and entity_text_content /
replace_entity_text (Text/MText/AttributeDefinition/AttributeEntity).

Move each to its own trait in entities/traits.rs and implement
per-entity:

  MassPropsCalc — Circle, Arc, Line, LwPolyline, Ellipse
  TextContent — Text, MText, AttributeDefinition, AttributeEntity

EntityTypeOps gets dispatch shims that route to the trait via the
existing macro, so callsites just call entity.mass_props() /
entity.text_content() / entity.replace_text(search, rep).

The remaining free helpers in commands.rs (entity_list_details,
entity_extra_info, entity_type_name, build_data_extraction_csv) are
single-command formatting helpers tightly coupled to LIST / EXTRACT /
text-format output. Distributing them as per-entity methods would
inflate every entity file with command-side formatting concerns
without making the command-side any cleaner — left in place.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 4.7 40180e9089 refactor(scene/mod.rs): pull entity-specific helpers into entities/
Five chunks moved out of the 5965-line scene/mod.rs to live with the
entities they belong to:

- wide_lwpolyline_fills → entities/lwpolyline.rs::wide_fills
- wide_polyline2d_fills → entities/polyline.rs::wide_fills
- polyline_segment_fill → entities/common.rs (shared by both above)
- text_obb_corners_native + text_baseline_points + text_greek_obb_tris
  → entities/text_support.rs (handles Text/MText/Attribute alike)
- append_insert_attribute_wires → entities/insert.rs

Net: scene/mod.rs 5965 → 5404 lines (~560 lines extracted). Three
helpers in scene/render.rs / scene/block_cache.rs widened from
pub(super) to pub(crate) so the relocated functions can still reach
them. scene::entity_aabb also widened for the same reason.

scene::tessellate_entity_dim_text stays put — it's a thin wrapper
around the private tessellate_entity dispatcher and moving it would
require exposing tessellate_entity's full signature across the crate.
