Conflicts resolved as unions of behavior wherever possible:
- #1350 (set_properties numeric CAS): kept our stricter
json_values_match (guards u64>f64 precision loss); upstream's
duplicate removed.
- #1351 (web open-from-bytes): our implementation wins (guarded
queue, settle semantics, protocol 2) using upstream's validation
helper so both sides' tests pass.
- #1358/#1359 (Windows printer routing/media): merged both engines —
upstream's route planning, media tables, GDI raster path and driver
options on top of our level-2 enumeration fallback, true-default
resolution, quoted printto params, existence probe, and error
descriptions.
- #1360 (plot-style leniency): decompress_ctb now carries both our
CTBVER1/STBVER1 container tags and structured flag, and upstream's
lenient reader with Windows-1252 handling.
- 3D snapping precedence: upstream's F4 3D osnap system takes
precedence over our #1030 solid edge wires when the mesh cache has
geometry edges; our wires remain the fallback for triangle-only
caches and mesh entities (both test suites pass).
- Fixed upstream-side bugs surfaced by the merge: parametric arc
grips impl/test contradiction, psetupin test path separators, and
our pdf_raster regression where the new dpi argument was threaded
but ignored (GDI 300-DPI would have cached at 150).
- ocs_save repinned to the upstream acadrust rev; docs/command-
reference.md regenerated (the staleness test caught it).
acadrust follows hakanaktt/acadrust main through #107, entity-record
passthrough included; cadkernel pins the same codec rev so one acadrust
stays in the graph. Upstream added BlockFlags::is_xref_unloaded, which
XATTACH now sets to false for a freshly attached reference.

- acadrust 7ea4247: clamped-knot degree and MINSERT reservation fixes
(cadcodec #47). cadkernel a0b962a: dogleg fails on a non-finite
Jacobian (cadkernel #66) and pins the same codec rev, so one acadrust
stays in the graph.
- The axis re-alignment from #1361 retains its transformed length through
retain_segment_length, which holds a zero-length segment with per-axis
differences instead of a P2PDistance whose gradient is NaN there.

- #1352 pinned cadkernel/cadkernel-constraints to ramox81's fork. Its one
extra commit (cadkernel #67, SymmetricLineDirections) is now on
HakanSeven12/cadkernel main as the same SHA, so the manifests and lock
point back at the upstream repo at rev 0493b59.
- SYCONSTRAINT reports a repeated relation with the same message Fix and
Vertical use, as an error instead of plain output.
- The knot-less spline test consumes the add_entity results.

Older GPUs without usable DirectX 12 Feature Level 12_0 or working
Vulkan support (e.g. legacy Intel iGPUs and other old parts), and old
GLES drivers whose shader compiler rejects iced's own shaders, crash
at startup or on the first drawing viewport: StagingBelt aborts in
Buffer::get_mapped_range (panic=abort, silent exit) on the DX12 path,
and shader compilation fails inside iced's gradient pipeline on the
GLES path. Selecting a working backend via WGPU_BACKEND before iced
boots avoids both classes.
- Probe each candidate backend (Windows: dx12,vulkan,gl; Linux:
vulkan,gl) in an isolated --gpu-probe child: device request,
staging-style mapped upload, render pipeline creation (its fragment
shader reads a private vec4 array, catching old-Mesa compile
failures), offscreen render and readback. First fully-passing
backend wins; explicit --backend / WGPU_BACKEND / --safe-mode
always win, and Windows keeps preferring DX12/Vulkan (#55).
- Software adapters (WARP/llvmpipe/SwiftShader) are the last resort
before a best-effort GL attempt: slow but alive.
- The crash sentinel names the attempted backend so only implicated
backends are skipped next launch.
- Winning probes report adapter limits; GPUs without shader storage
buffers get the packed compatibility renderer automatically, with
a startup command-line notice so the switch is never silent.
The last four big web-vs-desktop gaps.
XREFs: XATTACH reads the picked drawing's bytes and registers them
name-keyed (the image/PDF-underlay pattern), pre-parses on the web
worker, and the commit merge produces the same xref block flow as
native. Opened drawings resolve xrefs from the registry (trailing-name
match) before cache build; unresolved references produce ONE warning
listing the names and the fix — drop the referenced files on the page
(drops and picker opens now register their bytes) and reopen or
XRELOAD. XRELOAD works off the registry on unsaved drawings too.
Data Link & Extraction: spreadsheet links read picked xlsx/csv bytes
(calamine from slices / CSV from string) through a session registry,
so preview, refresh, and table-insert work on web; extraction takes
external drawings via a multi-file picker parsed on the worker, and
outputs CSV/TXT/.dxex via download_bytes. The disabled 'Add folder'
button explains why.
ARCHIVE/ETRANSMIT: assembles the drawing plus registered images, PDF
underlays, and session plot tables into a deterministic ZIP (minimal
writer over flate2 — no new dependency) delivered as
{stem}_transmit.zip; skipped dependencies are reported by name.
Save/autosave off the UI thread: the parse worker gains a serialize
action (protocol v5) — the document is prepared once on the main
thread (clone, styles, dimension bake), then the DWG/DXF writer pass,
the dominant cost, runs on the worker; any worker failure falls back
to inline serialization with the identical shared implementation.
The save path also clears the dirty flag only when the tab didn't
change mid-write, and the runtime-fields sidecar now carries
graphic_data, fixing a pre-existing loss of raw DWG round-trip bytes
on web-opened documents.
Refresh associations after complete SpaceMouse camera updates and recognize imported paper-space owners without Layout objects. Use kernel containment, intersection, perpendicular and spline tangent solving; pin cadkernel 7ce27f2 and add regressions.
Each menu row is now a single mouse_area that publishes on PRESS instead of a button nested in a mouse_area. iced_aw ContextMenu keeps its overlay element in the widget struct, so every view rebuild wipes the overlay subtree state - including a button's is_pressed between press and release - and release-time clicks published nothing. Headless simulator tests through the real overlay guard row clicks, flyout clicks, the Change Path Type hover trigger, and pin the subtree-reset mechanism. Requires iced_test as a dev-dependency; the Cargo.lock gpu-allocator/windows edge is pinned back to 0.62.2 (see docs/review-context-menu-click-delivery.md).
Include decoded IMAGE/OLE content in the shared PDF plotting path,
with clipping, transforms, transparency, draw order, and resource reuse.
Use named page content for export and printing.
